Easy jet going out Monday coming home Friday is £310 Man to Athens.

If you can't go Monday. Take the Swiss flight there on Wednesday and Easy Jet back to save 150 quid.

That's only searching EasyJet.

At £500 a throw and two days off work (or more) this Europa League away lark is going to be well out of the reach of vast majority I fear.

Easyjet are the only operator that fly direct I think and the times home suited us better on Friday not getting home at midnight.

Plus we have the flexible option of being able to cancel if we don't get through and get our money back which Easyjet offer at an extortionate price.

Plus I didn't want to go on Monday and their Wednesday flight has been full for days. With Burnley fans no doubt.

Booked Easy jet from Manchester direct to Athens for 345 and that was 6 days return the shorter you try do it for the costlier it seems to get
And the Wednesday flight to Athens was showing fully book from last Friday.
I wonder whether they will lay more planes on if we make the draw as its going to be very hard to get the seats thats remaining on direct flights locally.
If you have to start messing about with other routes it can become even more expensive with over night stays and transport

The group games could be a lot cheaper out of holiday season with a lot more time to plan.

Anywhere in Central Europe can be done by supporters coach for instance.

Where's folk booking accomodation, I'd reserved rooms last week near Pireas but ticket collection is 10km away

I'm booked in Barry in Pireas about 1km max from stadium. At least, it'll be easy to get back after the match staying in that area.

Having missed Istanbul last week, I was determined to get to the next one and have got my flights booked. Going out on Wednesday via Berlin and coming back Friday via Cephalonia. The return flight has come in a bit expensive but going out is not too bad and I get a few hours in Berlin, a city I've always wanted to visit.

sounds perfect, get to the city centre, pick up the tickets, get a few drinks, soak up the atmosphere, get the bus in and then after the game have a few drinks around the port with the locals drinking oozo and then stagger back to my place with a good result and 3 days to enjoy Athens!!

I've been warned the locals can be a bit lively at the game. Some Everton fans I know in their 50s got jumped in the Train station when they went there.
They said the City was fine though, just around the ground area.

How many do you think we will end up taking. Celtic took 700 this week. Would have thought about the same for us. Allocation around 1500. ?

I made the sensible decision last week but it didn't feel like the right decision last Thursday when I was sat here watching it on YouTube. I was determined to get to the next one. I had a selection of flights to go for and hoped they wouldn't have gone up too much. Won't be there too long, arrive around 9 p.m. in Athens on the Wednesday and the flight out is 5:15 a.m. on Friday so it will be straight to the airport.

I was so nervous during the game because I really wanted this trip. I'm absolutely buzzing, I don't think I was this excited as a child on Christmas morning. I never, ever thought I'd get the opportunity to see us play in European competition again, home or away. It's brilliant.

A friend of mine has just tried to book it but it was full. He's now coming home via Corfu, that gets in at 2:55 p.m. in Manchester but I think it is over £300 now.

If you need to get back try and look for a late flight to Turkey after the match. They seem to fly back at daft o clock.

To make this trip work it’ll cost me £450 for flights alone. I’m out.

Taking advantage of cheap flights over the years is completely ruining this european tour for me. ******* cheap skate

We're flying from Manchester to Thessaloniki at 5.55 on Wednesday morning, then back to Manchester from Thessaloniki, Friday tea time. Internal flights to and from Athens are booked for £310 in total. Not sure what time the internal flights are but chuffed to bits to be going :D

I’ve booked Heathrow and anyone with Avios can get some cheap BA flights. There is a business class one back Friday evening that can be had for 11000 Avios and £100. I booked it then realised I had to be back earlier for another flight the day after so paid more money for an earlier economy one. Without Avios they were about £250 for the more expensive return leg.
