There is no loan window in the Football League as such but they can sign free agents or players on loan until 31st August

I can't see any real value for us in an immediate loan. The Championship clubs can still loan him after the window closes tomorrow. If he had gone to Derby as part of the Vydra deal we would no longer be able to include him in our squad.

Even if something has been arranged with Derby, keeping him here gives us another player for the next few weeks and more options. He can still go out on loan after the window shuts.

Personally, I think a loan move would be good for everyone. It would give Nahki a chance to get more game time and the opportunity to put himself back on the map. Whatever people say Wells deserves the opportunity to play and being out on the pitch scoring would be like a breath of fresh air for the lad. If chances of that happening here aren't great then a loan would be a good move.

Nahki gets the chance to show what he can do and re-establish himself and on his return we can look at where he fits into the team going forward. I think the Nahki would actually enjoy playing in some matches as well.

Fully agreed LL....I've been looking forward to the lad playing..lots dissing him on here but no one has seen him play a complete game for Burnley but I'm not privy to anything about him so can't comment. I'm hoping he gets game time his confidence must be shot. It's akin to going in to work every day and being told to sit in a corner IMO.
