İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
I've been trying to book from 5pm when they became available on general sale - they are now not listed on the site. Oh no! Has it sold out?
Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
Same here. Can't be sold out, unless you assume every season ticket holder has bought their seat and I know of two that haven't as I'm trying to buy their seats for someone else!
Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
Also, I rang the ticket office yesterday and they seemed to indicate that this should be possible - i.e. implying that they hadn't sold that many.
Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
It went on general sale early this morning.

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
the tickets from non attending season ticket holders, should be available from 5, as that was the cut off time to buy them for season ticket holders. as the ticket office is now shut, I guess they are updating the ticket details before they go out to online sales
I bloody hope so anyway.

lots of seats available, so majority of season ticket holders haven't taken their seats by the looks of it.
Shame, I thought it'd be a near sell-out.

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
Just got back from ticket office to grab mine and I’d say 10/15 sold whilst I was there.
I didn’t think it will be a sellout and with probably a maximum of 50 Turkish fans coming over if we’re lucky I think it’ll be a bit of a flat atmosphere too.

I guess that lots of ST holders didn't realise that they only had until Friday teatime to get their own seats.

If the bulk do not purchase, it sends a message to the club that the Euro quest is not that important.

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
Word of caution.
I ordered ours last night for collection.
Mrs W has been down today to pick them up and they have said there was an issue with the site (again) and all tickets will be posted out.
Even the two people working in the office were telling two different tales

At a guess, I'd say it is to encourage folk to book tickets online therefore avoiding the cost of paying someone to man the phone line.Leisure wrote:What is the £1.60 charge actually for?

I honestly thought we might have sold more. Looks like a decent amount available in most areas as of lunchtime today:

Need to make their online system actually work then.chekhov wrote:At a guess, I'd say it is to encourage folk to book tickets online therefore avoiding the cost of paying someone to man the phone line.
Although I believe that the outside operation that handle the phone sales is also monitoring the online sales.
Who knows maybe they know that all who fail on line ring them up and they get to charge them £1.60 and justify funding their service
Conspiracy

It would help if you was able to pick a seat, like at concert/cinema.BleedingClaret wrote:Need to make their online system actually work then.

We wanted an extra one to go with our 3 season ticket seats and it’s impossible to do online as it allocates a seat with no option of changing it

In the same boat. I think the only way to do it is to go to the ticket office and see if the seats you want are available.wilks_bfc wrote:It would help if you was able to pick a seat, like at concert/cinema.

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
The online system doesn't (or wasn't) working midweek so I had to ring to be told that the tickets would be added to our season ticket cards and I would be charged £1.60 for admin services.
Perhaps the £1.60 will go towards getting the website working properly?

Am I being paranoid in that the number of times the website is not working is getting them that x £1.60???????tybfc wrote:The online system doesn't (or wasn't) working midweek so I had to ring to be told that the tickets would be added to our season ticket cards and I would be charged £1.60 for admin services.

can you not just click on the section in the stand and bring up the specific seat selection?

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
Well I’ve never had that option, either on tablet or laptop.
You get option to select the stand, block/section and number of tickets required.
When you submit it gives you the seat and if you don’t want it you “delete” it and start again

wilks, you just click on the yellow/red section in the stand on the map. I've only bought once online a while back but I think that is what I did.

Click on the block then it gives you every single available seat. Pick the one you want.
I think there's an option of 'select seat manually' and you must be clicking 'select seat automatically'

I have never had a problem with the online ticketing. And it is easy to select a particular seat or group of seats in my experience. I can't recall an occasion when I have been just allocated a seat when I have booked online

When you highlight the seat it's not in your automatically in your basket, you have to select the put it in your basket icon, then it's in there, that's when I hit the problem as it kept saying my card was not the same as the type selected even though it was a saved card that I used to get my seat for Thursday successfully, this time I was getting the seat next to mine for my son.
I had to ring up and pay £1.60, nearly half a Twix

Yep, when I tried it this morning, on desktop, if you clicked on the section it just automatically allocated you random seats in that area. I tried it numerous times. I have just tried it again now and this time you can actually drill down to the actual seat locations. Must have been a problem with the system earlier.

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
The website says the ticket office is open until 16:00 on Saturday.
I went to the ground and bought 4 tickets, I was the last customer they served it was 12:30 and they closed the shutters, leaving fans who where just arriving rather disgruntled.

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
Just found this in the Terms and Conditions on the club website -Leisure wrote:What is the £1.60 charge actually for?
Tickets online terms and conditions –
All tickets purchased are issued subject to the Tickets online terms and conditions, the ground regulations and the Ticketing terms and conditions.
All tickets are non refundable, and non transferable.
In the event of the date or time of the match being changed, tickets issued with the previous time or date will still be valid for the re-arranged fixture.
Should a match be postponed or abandoned for any reason before half time, the tickets will still be valid for the re-arranged fixture. If you do not wish to attend the re-arranged fixture, you will be entitled to a refund as long as the refund request is made in writing to the club no later than 24 hours before the advertised kick off of the game.
No tickets will be re-printed in the event of a tickets being lost or forgotten. If your ticket is stolen, you should report the theft to the police and obtain a crime reference number. On production of this reference number, the club will re-issue your ticket free of charge.
All tickets purchased are subject to a £1.60 booking fee.
The only reference I could find to a £1.60 booking fee was in relation to the above and that refers to online purchases. I've certainly never been charged £1.60 for an online purchase.
This is the information on the club website for First Time Fans -
To Purchase Tickets
Tickets can be purchased from the Ticket Office at Turf Moor (Harry Potts Way, Burnley, BB10 4BX), by phone on our ticket line 0844 8071882, or you can purchase tickets online.
Purchasing tickets online at http://www.claretsstore.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
To purchase tickets online you will first need to register your details. To Register click ‘Join’ (top right hand corner of the claretsstore.com home page). Fill in all your required details (please use a password you will remember, as you will need this to log-in in future). Once you have correctly filled in all your details you will be given the option to purchase home matches.
Click the link to go directly to home matches, or scroll over the ‘Tickets Tab’ on the claretsstore.com homepage and click on ‘home games’. A full list of games you can purchase tickets for will then be displayed.
Click on the match you would like to purchase for and you will be given two options.
Option 1: Choose your seat. From here you can choose the individual seats you would like to purchase from the stadium plan. Choose which seats you would like and then click ‘Buy Tickets’
Option 2: Choose an area. From here you choose an area of the ground you would like to sit and the system will assign you seats. Click ‘Buy Tickets’
You will then reach the checkout. Please check your purchase is correct, choose your method of fulfilment (either collection or post), and click ‘Checkout’. Simply enter your credit/debit card details as requested. Your tickets will then either be available from the Turf Moor ticket office for collection or posted out to you as you requested.
PLEASE NOTE: On matchdays online tickets for collection will be available from the Ticket Collection Point, in the Elite Training Centre (in the North Car Park), not at the Ticket Office.
Purchasing multiple tickets online at http://www.claretsstore.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you wish to buy two or more tickets which are for a different price band, that person's number must be attached to yours within the 'Family & Friends' menu.
Once the extra person(s) have been selected from the drop-down box, click 'Update Basket' at the bottom of the page. This will then apply the correct price(s).
Purchasing tickets from the Ticket Office
The Turf Moor Ticket Office is open from 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday and from 9am - 12:30pm on Saturdays (Non-matchdays). The Ticket Office is also open from 9am – kick-off on matchdays
As a new fan, staff at the ticket office will firstly ask you for some simple contact details (Name, Address, Contact Number, Email Address, DoB, etc) and then provide you with a ‘Clarets Number’. This is your personal fan number and will allow you to build up ‘Clarets Points’ every time you make a purchase in the future (explained below).
You will then be able to choose the area of Turf Moor you would like to sit, and be asked for a method of payment. Burnley Football Club accepts cash and most major credit/debit cards (excluding American Express). The ticket office staff will then print your matchday ticket and hand it to you for use on matchday
Purchasing tickets over the phone
Tickets can be purchased on 0844 807 1882, (Option 1 for home tickets) Monday-Friday from 8am - 6pm.
As a new fan the staff at the ticket office will firstly ask you for some simple contact details (Name, Address, Contact Number, Email Address, DoB, etc) and then provide you with a ‘Clarets Number’.

Re: İstanbul Başakşehir Home Tickets Sold Out?
As someone has previously mentioned it would create a better atmosphere if we were given more of the cricket field stand instead of it being left with 50 away fans in it I'm sure we will sell most of our seats by Thursday even if most season ticket holders are still on holiday
