Fulham now confirmed as gone, so Cardiff's two away games against Brighton and ourselves, really are the walking definition of " six pointers " ...Should we pick up a point at Bournemouth and beat Cardiff, Cardiff would effectively need 10 points from their last five games, Brighton, Fulham & Man Utd ( Away ) and Crystal Palace & Liverpool ( Home ) ... a tough ask .

So even if we lose at Bournemouth, Cardiff losses at Burnley and Brighton ( both away) would reduce the Magic number to 5 ( not including GD). This would effectively mean that if Burnley lost the last 4 games Cardiff would need 6 points to survive so wins at Fulham and home to Palace would keep them up. Gonna be a nail biting few weeks. Hopefully we can do the business at Bournemouth. Even a point would be huge.

all very squeaky bum time as I think most of us feel we have the next two games to get points to keep us up.

If Cardiff lose to us they would be 8 behind us if we lost at Bournemouth, if they lost to Brighton as well they would need to win 3 of there last 4

The win next week would drop Cardiff to 5. Meaning they can’t lose 2 matches. With them still having Liverpool(H) and Man Utd(A) I’d fancy us.

Match week 33, although plenty of games still outstanding ....

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... =267725110

Win on Saturday, and we go 11 clear of Cardiff, effectively 12 with the goal difference ( unless we ship goals for fun in our last 4 games ) .... a draw will still see us 8 points ahead with Cardiff still needing to win 3 of their last 5 games to catch us, assuming we lose all of our last 4 games .. :)

And Cardiff or Brighton or both to drop points on Tuesday. If Cardiff lose they are down to 2 with a massively inferior GD

Wow, 9 clubs all with a chance to finish 7th - including the Super Clarets (8th will do me, we need another season to prepare properly for Europas). ;) :D

I'm sure when the clubs that play each other are added to the "best possible" result outcomes, Burnley won't end up 7th this season. Be a great end to the season to end up a few places higher than 15th.

It's official, Cardiff need to beat Fulham and Manchester Utd away, and beat Palace at home to catch us, assuming we lose all four of our remaining fixtures ..... I am now cautiously optimistic about our prospectts ... :D

Looks like Brighton will need to beat Newcastle. Cardiff HAVE to win at Fulham which wont be easy. Cardiff are big odds on for the long drop. Looking like we will finish 15th or 16th.Would love us to beat Arsenal

Here's where we stand, going into the final game of the season .....

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... =267725110

UTC ! Here's hoping for a 1-0 home win against Arsenal, ideally with an offside goal off Ashley's arm in the 6th minute of stoppage time, after the 4th Official had indicated 4 minutes ....
