The club is having a meeting today about putting Olympiacos tickets straight on general sale Hope we have been allocated plenty

you'd have thought they would have already sorted ticket details out just in case.
But anyway, if there is the 5% allocation then we should have 1500 about so I dont see the point in having priority if there are so many; we aint gonna take that many and everyone who wants to go will go. Put it on general sale and have done with it.

That would be a great move,should not be any complaints about points ect then.
The only restriction I would consider would be to limit to standing clarets number holders and not allow people to obtain a number at point of sale.Unlikely though it would be ,the possibility of tickets getting into the wrong hands is always there

Do we have to accept all the 5% allocation or is it like Prem games, if we dont sell them then the club are liable to pay the remaining seats?

Almost sure that we pay for what we use (up to 5%). It's in the UEFA manual somewhere.

As a non season ticket holder Id be against them going straight to general sale. If and its a massive “IF” it sells out. I dont think it’d be fair a season ticket holder missing out.

Same as Istanbul for me but with the club saying they’ll go on general sale Monday today. Rather than announcing that on Monday like they did last time.

They constantly talk about this European adventure brilliant for the fans yet if they take a small allocation coz they don't wanna pay for the remaining tickets and only give priority to those who can go more often than not and season ticket holders then it's a load of nonsense what they say. This is a European trip for ALL fans, even ones who can't go often. It is easier for to go to Athens than Burnley and I should be given the option. Fair enough for games closer to home like Aberdeen where it is right that priority is given but when it's a longer trip and there are the tickets due to the 5% allocation, take them and make sure everybody who is willing to pay and can go get to go.

I think they’ve got have the same structure in place for all european away games. Season ticket holders should get a priority of a day or 2. That’s fine for these types of fixture as the tickets won’t sell out before general sale. If say we drew Barcelona or Rangers/Celtic in the knock out rounds it’ll be unfair to change the away allocations from “general sale” to a more loyalty based structure.

I agree it is the fairest way and they should stick to the format they have always used.
I just always fear, being an exile but able to get to these games, that we don't take enough of an allocation and they don't reach general sale, especially for games where we shouldnt sell out if the allocation is big enough, like this game.

I get what your saying. It’ll be a sickener if you missed out because the 800 sold out and we choose not to have more. Im sure you’ll be fine any road.

800 should be enough bit it really is a poor show if they don't get to general sale. What are exiles supposed to do, wait until the Monday to book flights and accommodation? It is hard enough booking it with a week to spare!!

I live in Spain and no way can hold a season ticket used to have one for 25 years when i lived in the area
I could only get a flight out on Monday so need a ticket before then
i get to about 10 games a season and after the united game will have done 5 already and the seasons just started every games a flight and going to two games i could have had 3 season tickets at what it as cost for these games and the agro you have booking flights in the time we have they should be on general no doubt about it

I was the same for Istanbul but they didnt announce General Sale until Monday afternoon. The balls in your court this time. Personally Id take the risk of booking flights. Im pretty certain you’ll be good. The flights from UK are ridiculously expensive

I'd booked everything after the first leg Dyched. I wasnt missing out on this after the Istanbul farce; just keeping fingers crossed and if it goes sour then I'll get a ticket in the home end.

I hope they do make general sale.... Me the missus and oldest lad all have season tickets, ( the youngest, 4, doesn't ) hotel already booked hahaha

800 tickets is only an initial allocation. We will get more if we sell these.

Diamonpocket - if you want a ticket, like the previous two legs you will get one easily.

We probably wont sell the 800 to be fair.

But as a season ticket holder without 5,000 points this is about the fairest way we could do it. The only better way to do it would be to be based on recent games i.e. last 3 - 5 years. But even then you would have the same challenge?

You have to reward your most loyal and committed fans its as simple as that.
