Saturday's
Saturday's
What's everybody doing with all these spare Saturday's?. Maybe a few local teams will have some extra support or the wife could have some company round the shops!. It's a very strange experience not being down the Turf or glued to a radio or T.V. What about guys who usually play in Sunday leagues?.

Re: Saturdays
I like to be a pedant and correct people on apostrophe usage.

Seriously though, my uncle is a minister and is busy on Sundays so he can’t make any of the PL games if they are on a Sunday. My dad’s made up though because he gets his season ticket!

Re: Saturday's
I’ve just been looking at the fixtures to see when the first Saturday. As it stand upto 20th October we could only have 2 Saturday games, Bournemouth & Man City.
Huddersfield is currently Saturday, but if we progress in Europa that will move.
Could cause issues with my u9s that play on Sundays but hopefully we’ll be finished our games in time

Re: Saturday's
It's going in my favour, I'm doing loads of overtime at work!
Re: Saturday's
I don’t know where this recent misunderstanding has come from; putting apostrophes before the ‘s’ in plurals. Does my head in at work but I guess there are more important things that I should be concerned about, like when will Vydra be fit enough to feature in a match!BFCmaj wrote:Seriously though, my uncle is a minister and is busy on Sundays so he can’t make any of the PL games if they are on a Sunday. The weird thing is, that’s the only plural in that post that has an apostrophe!Carport wrote:I don’t know where this recent misunderstanding has come from; putting apostrophes before the ‘s’ in plurals. Re: Saturday's
My gaffer takes full advantage of me not going to a match on Saturday's and drags me into work.

You're too old to work aren't you?
I hated working with old people like you Steve, your chat is rubbish so the day drags, and they tend to smell of either damp or p1ss.
Re: Saturday's
Was gonna go up Holt House to watch the mighty Colne's first game of the season but just found out they're away up at Newcastle. Might have to be the pub instead!

Well done BFCmaj. I wondered who'd be the first to spot the deliberate mistake with the apostrophe.
