If that's all that's important to us, what's the point in finishing as high as possible, which has the consequence of European competition?exilecanada wrote:The game was on our telly, we were acceptable in first half, second half we were nothing but abysmal. The names on the shirts were the same, but the energy had gone. Our defence was at sixes and sevens as though they’d never played together before……..pitiful performance. As for offence……..non-existent. Oh, Hart spilled one and lucky to escape with no damage.
Bottom line is we need to get this Europa League nonsense out of our system asap, and focus on what’s important to BFC……survival!

To answer the OP's question - more recently than most seem to think.
Against Leicester at home last season - about 4 years ago.
The only difference was that that day, Leicester missed a couple of good chances when we switched off, and we managed to capitalise on a period in which we were in front to get 2 goals clear. But the first half as a whole today was light years better than that first half was in that game, and the second half was no worse.

Fact is we just didn't put away our chances when they came in the 1st half. Like last week and against the Turks. When did a forward last score?

We need a tough midfielder. One who would have bullied Hughes and co. We were too soft today.

Feels like months ago. I know you mean Aberdeen. But I mean in the league and since.
