The type of fans we want
The type of fans we want
Heard someone today in the Cricketfield saying ‘I won’t be coming on again after today’ which is up there with one of the most stupid things I've ever heard on the turf (and being in the cricketfield you really do hear some Sh*te) But to make a comment like that after one poor game is ridiclous, don’t bother coming on again, we don’t want ‘fans’ like that

What a gob sh*te
Re: The type of fans we want
It looks like many of our fans said the same on Thursday and meant it, there must have been at least 4000 empty seats today for the first PL home game, shocking support really and atmosphere non existent as usual.

Re: The type of fans we want
I want the type of fans that politely clap mid table football and don’t want to progress at all but then complain when the club doesn’t spend money and when we lose games. We don’t want European football at all, get us back in league one challenging fleetwood asap so we can talk about the 80s again.

Re: The type of fans we want
I think the issue with the fans missing is the cost of going to two games per week. Its not just the entry price, but all the other additions such as transport, program, food & drink etc
Most of our supporters are local and dont earn the big city wages or overseas tourists so it can be very financially demanding.

I’m under 25 so not a Orient brigader but what a stupid comment, we finished 7th in the premier league last year, what’re you wanting? Progression to the champions league? I know despitenoverachievimg last season the club isn’t perfect but my god look at the bigger picture Burnley in mid-table of the Premier League really is something worthy of applause and supportMilltown1882 wrote:I want the type of fans that politely clap mid table football and don’t want to progress at all but then complain when the club doesn’t spend money and when we lose games. Re: The type of fans we want
I see your point, but the way it was said seemed to be more in relation to the performance, which obviously was poor but don’t think one bad game (in the premier league no less) should be enough to prompt someone to say thatebby wrote:I think the issue with the fans missing is the cost of going to two games per week. A number of empty seats around me in JHU , all season ticket holders. I would take a guess they were on holiday or have other commitments on a Sunday, I'd go for holidays.
And the top hat who had a go at me for leaving early v Spurs left with 5 minutes to go.

Yeah when I looked online the other day to book some tickets for another game it was showing that there were not that many seats left for todays game so it must be something like that.A number of empty seats around me in JHU , all season ticket holders.
