Lancashire League 19/08

Post by Hopey » Sun Aug 19, 2018 8:28 pm

Not been many threads on here since the Worsley Cup Final

Wins for Lowerhouse saturday and sunday put them second. Someone still needs to beat Walsden though

Be tight at the end of the season when the league splits, to who ends up in Division 2.

Current table

Anyone know what happened with Colne v East Lancs yesterday? Last I heard Colne made 225, E Lancs were 84-3 at half way, and then everyone with a phone or computer suddenly ceased posting. It's as if a Midwich Cuckoo-style forcefield descended over the area. Anyone got any info?

The Mighty Colne won today, though! :D :o Beat Tod by 8 runs or so in a 23 over game.

May see a few defeats in the coming weeks for clubs in the middle of the table.

How did anyone get a game in today? Absolutely shocking weather. Couldn’t believe that they were playing on Burnley as we came out of the ground after the match.

Lowerhouse won easily. Ben Heap got a ton as House chased down 175 with 8 wickets and about 17 overs to spare.
