Lad and I are gonna get the metro as don’t fancy being herded right in ( and early too )without a sample of the atmosphere . Was in Athens 2 yrs ago and the metro is cheap and v easy to get around on.
Spoke to some Greek colleagues and they concur re the metro. Will also take this route to the ground which is close to a marina (and therefore probably drinking establishments)!

Dazzler
Dont disagree but we need to get 100% behind the lads and 'enjoy the ride' and in the Premier League accept that we are whatever one says we are still punching above our weight and I would be more than happy if we can stay in the Premier and become an established Premier league side.

I cant understand the negative comments on here at lot of the time from some of our 'fans'

You must be on the same flights as me :) On which I am travelling hoity-toity class  Travelling back via Munich on the Friday afternoon.

How are you getting to the airport at stupid o'clock? I am going to park at the station I think. £10 odd per day and the shuttle train takes you over to the airport itself. £50+ quoted for using official airport parking

Probably going to head to the James Joyce pub tomorrow night. Looks like a pretty decent boozer and serves food too.

After going to Aberdeen and Istanbul, I can’t do this one. Really don’t want it to be the end of the journey though. The group games allow time for some proper planning around work and family.

Fingers well and truly crossed.

I live in Elmdon about 3 miles from the airport. I will pick you up at 4.15am if you let me know what pub.

James Joyce at Monastiraki, is a good shout, if using the metro. M1 straight to ground.
