I am in Piraeus at mo but just wondering have the club announced times of collection or can you pick up from the ground like we did at Aberdeen?

You have to go to a hotel a few kilometres away (4.9 miles).

We are stopping in Piraeus from tomorrow afternoon.

Good decision having weighed everything up.

From The Club Website. If anyone knows the time collection starts please add into the thread.

Ticket Collection
ALL tickets must be collected ahead of the game from the Divani Caravel Hotel (Athina 161 21), upon display of your passport. No tickets will be released without your passport being shown. Collection times will be released in due course.

Update from club website:
Ticket Collection: Updated.
We would urge supporters to collect all tickets ahead of the game from the Divani Caravel Hotel (Athina 161 21), upon display of your passport. They can be collected between 10am -6pm on the day of the game. Any tickets not collected by this time will be transported to a dedicated collection point at the stadium (location to be advised).

No tickets will be released without your passport being shown. Please note that passports are the only ID accepted in order to to collect your tickets.

Am I correct to believe that once you have shown your passport to collect ticket, there is no need to take passport to ground?

I hope so I am, my plan is to take mine back to hotel after collecting tickets, so I don't lose it when Vydra wins it for us in the 82nd minute making it 1-2

Any advice from people who went to Istanbul bout whether a photocopy of passport will do for ticket collection? We plan to head out for day and don't really wanna carry them about especially as will be battered later on. hotel will do us a copy if that's any good?

I asked the question before Istanbul and was told definitely you need the original I’m afraid. Don’t know if there’s any leniency, I didn’t risk it!

On collecting my ticket this morning, I was told that you could be asked for your passport on entering the ground. Apparently the authorities have been unclear on whether it will be enforced but just a heads up.

Only a fool would carry their passport on the Metro hours before a flight, which, if having a few drinks in Piraeus, we would have to do. I will be taking my driving license and a passport photo on my phone, just using the real one to get my ticket.

What a ridiculous rule to have to carry your passport into an environment in which it could easily be lost or stolen.....
