Looking at the online stadium map for upcoming home games it would appear that a lot of season ticket holders are not intending to be there this Thursday. There are very few seats available for all the other home games for the next 5 or 6 weeks which I presume are mainly down to season ticket sales. Yet for the game against Olympiacos there are loads of seats left. I realise we are still in school holiday season and also that many season ticket holders live a long way away but I am still very disappointed that it looks like there will be large gaps in the stands on Thursday. If we consider it just a one off game (and ignore the situation after the first leg) then I can’t understand why this isn’t a really exciting game to watch. It is also far from an impossible task to beat them on aggregate. Okay so we have been rubbish recently, but I don’t think Olympiacos are as good as most, if not all, of the premier league clubs. I am really enjoying playing against some overseas teams and want it to continue as long as possible. So come on you walk ons, we need you there on Thursday.

I'm sure all of us that were in Athens will be there, now how about some commitment from the rest of the season ticket holders to reclaim their seats. Doesn't look like that is going to happen though looking at the online stadium tickets sold so far. Hang your head in shame before you get your armchair scripts ready to slag your team off as soon as the final whistle goes on Thursday whilst you are sat in your dressing gown.

Ironically the Greek fans probably won’t understand history and visiting somewhere like Turf Moor - even though it parallels with The Acropolis in footballing terms

I'll be there and bringing 4 others on (only one of which is a claret)

Shocked at the lack of sales but feel general apathy is creeping in already.

They took around 4,000 to Old Trafford in 2014. I’ll be impressed if they bring over 1,000, and I’m sure the atmosphere will be fantastic. Hopefully the Burnley of early last season turn up.

Although I am a season ticket holder, I personally won't be attending this fixture. I won't be in the UK
Olympiacos are certainly nothing to write home about and with our away goal we are still in with a shout

The problem Burnley have is a lot of their season ticket holders are just Premier league glory hunters, who have swaped their allegiances from Manchester United and Liverpool. Blackburn rovers had the same problem that is why when they get relegated back to the championship they lose 50% of there season ticket holders.
Sad but true

Had a nosey on their website and no Burnley ticket sales are available. That doesn't mean they've sold out, maybe they sell em via different outlets.
i reckon 1500 max.

A bit of an under statement ..... It's looking like the Jimmy Mac stand will be almost empty, with the James Hargreaves stand about 3/4 full but the Bob Lord and our part of the Cricketfield about 3/4 to nearly full.

It really is true but it's same with all clubs, as soon as teams get promoted to the PL the glory seeking leeches suddenly scurry to buy tickets.

Ticket sales are looking very poor, can’t see the attendance being more than about 17,000.

I’ve heard there will be 6/700 gate 7 ultras over and another 100 or so via Serbia with them as part of their “orthodox brotherhood”

It’ll be a spectacle to see the sort of fans they have alone .... hope the CFS (and rest of the ground) are in full force to make it a special night .... an early goal (hopefully 2) will make it electric and set up a special night nicely.

I’m sure the 2-0 deficit and last two league results will put a lot off, but it could be the last chance to see the Clarets in Europe, and you never know, it’s could just well be a really special night.

I’ve got my tickets anyway. We certainly need to impose ourself on the game, from the fans down to the team.

I hope Dyche has a right go at the officials like they did at their place in the refs room at half time.

Hoping that this game is he start of the season proper!

I bet most of their fans don't even know where Burnley is, probably end up in Barnsley.

Each to their own, but there's a possibility that a match like this will not happen again for a very long time. If you call yourself a Burnley supporter, then turn up on Thursday and support Burnley

If it is a poor attendance and atmosphere, I would hope that our 'fans' don't come on here and other places afterwards slagging the team off if we get knocked out. There's no doubt we've had a bad start, however the players will react to a good crowd and atmosphere, but when we are all asking for big improvements, the fans need to be part of it too. £15 ffs to see us in possibly our last game in Europe for many year. Unless the fans genuinely can't make it, we should all be there cheering them on

I think the reason JMC will be empty is due to the £15 ticket price for every stand so there will be many “upgrading” to other stands for this match. I will be there and looking forward to it and I hope it is one of those glad I was there games.

Have a quick google search of “orthodox brothers” and you’ll find plenty of info on what they’re all like mate.

Red Star and Olympiacos (And Moscow) have a massive link rooted through shared religious values as orthodox countries.

Don’t worry - we’ve sold out for United again so will get a chance to see fans rubbing one off about how the kids want Pogbas shirt again and he’s such a good guy for giving his shirt to kids in home ends.
