Post by IanMcL » Sun Aug 26, 2018 1:33 pm

I am off to the match, so leave Madge in your capable hands.

She is back from Athens bay be stuck in Paris or Blackpool! Nonetheless she is raring to go.

No Vydra and no midfielder on the bench. It really highlights how poor our summer business was.

No midfielders on the bench. Not that good.

If we do 4-5-1 we should just play Vokes and then bring on Barnes and Wood. Wood hold up play isn't good enough when he's solo.

Vydra not being on the bench is not a good sign.

Wonder if he’s injured. Extremely weird if he isn’t.

Poor lineup. Hendrick as a number 10 does not work. Wood own his own does not work. He's soft as ****. And to have no midfielders or Vydra on the bench is really poor.

Good afternoon from very cloudy Galway i must say , now the rain has stopped but must be on the way to the UK by now .
Not sure why it's all doom and gloom with the predictions as i see us winning this one .
So eyes down on the stream looking for 3 points .

I’d have Barnes over Wood in a 451 without question

Strong line up but can’t understand no Vydra! Gibson can’t play on Thursday, Long and Taylor already on bench. Surely worth a place on the bench and if need be 20mins at the end to offer something different.

Heard it from a VERY good source inside the club, that he's been told he's nowhere near fit enough yet.

Don’t need a midfielder on the bench. Hendrick will drop back if anything happens to Cork or Westwood.
Sessegnon on the bench for them is a surprise.

I don't see how Wood starts up top on his own after last week, we are going to need Barnes to buy us free kicks to get us up the pitch.

That is not a good subs bench. We have 5 defensive players on it who you really only want to use for an injury . And the other two are Vokes and Barnes who are both target men. Serious lack of variety. No wingers or midfielders.

you forgotten Dyche is the manager ? He'd only need to play 6 mins after the obligatory 87th minute subs kick in

This Dyche fit nonsense is starting to get on my nerves, QPR threw Wells and Hemed in from the start yesterday without as much as a training session and won the game.

It’s a load of crap. Even Trippier (how absolutely worshipped Dyche) alluded to how much fitter he was and how much more intense training sessions are with Spurs.

Dyche clearly feels that Wood in his own with Hendrick as a false 10 works. I don't know any fans that do.

Not really comparable situations. All that proves is Wells is fit enough for 87mins of a Championship game. Not liked he scored either.
