Hart 6 - not able to do much about the goals but handling generally good in tricky conditions

Lowton 5 - poor on the ball and wastefully crossing
Mee 6 - some good blocks and tackles but just seemed disorganised at the back
Tarkowski 6 - as Mee
Ward 6 - thought he did well getting forwards but nothing to aim at

Lennon 5 - offered very little
Westwood 5 - quietest I've seen him for a while
Cork 7 - only one with any composure or steel on the middle
JBG 6 - not on long enough

Hendrick 7 -a much better performance today but still a fish out of water in that position

Wood 2 - he really was that bad. No touch, no strength, won nothing in the air and was beaten to almost every 1st, 2nd and 3rd ball

Taylor 6 - difficult coming on with no warm up but looked better when moved to full back
Barnes 5 - no service but never got himself into a position to threaten
Vokes 5 - as Barnes

This game has highlighted our failings in the past few transfer windows. Our substitutions are predictable and there is no pace to turn the opposition. Our front 3 are all the same type of players and we have no variation. The expectation on Vydra now will be even more intense as our hopes of a change of luck appear to be well and truly on his shoulders. The same could be said of Brady and Defour but how long  are they going to be out for and can we hold on that long?

We've let Wells go without ever really seeing how he would fare in the PL when he could just get opposition thinking with him being quicker and more likely to hang on the last shoulder of a defender.
There's only so far workrate and being plucky will get you, and when you are down to the base bones, our weaknesses are exposed, more so when our direct rivals invested over the summer, and in most cases, very wisely

Shambolic, every single one of them and it wont change until we play two up top and bypass our not existent creative midfield

Completely respect your scores and opinion but IMO hart’s command of his box is light years behind Pope’s.

You gave Wood a 2 but Barnes and Vokes a 5, did Barnes and Vokes even touch the ball?
Lennon actually provided an accidental assist but got a lower mark than JBG who had an even better chance to provide and ballsed it up in true JBG fashion?

Hart - 6 kept it from being 5 or 6, but looked suspect on a goal
Lowton - 5 sloppy
Tarky - 7 looked the main threat in their box,
Mee - 6
Ward - 5 another below par display, I cannot remember his last good game
Lennon - 6 huffed and puffed, an assist at last
Westwood - 4 a really poor effort, gave the ball away quite a lot, crossing was woeful
Cork - 4 not at the races, looks tired
Taylor - 5 where is he playing, he needs continuity.
Hendrick 7 a good game from him, actually impressed how much he tried to nearly make stuff work given the service he didn't get
Wood - 5, it seems he does nothing other than score, which is only just about ok if he does.

For the many that say Europa isn't effecting us, they need to look closely at the lads.
They looked drained, and mentally too, which isn't good news.
10 goals in 3 games isn't very Dyche like, and let's not kid ourselves, this hasn't been against the best of opposition.
Fulham tore through us today like they were Barcelona.
I'm glad it wasn't 5 or 6, as it really could have been.
Not mad tonight, just disappointed, personally could see it coming.

Hart - 5
Ward - 5
Mee - 3 simply dreadful and it had a knock on effect on his central defensive partner and his leftback
Tarks - 5
Lowton - 4 way out of position numerous times leading to them having chances on the flanks
JBG - 5
Cork - 4 out run and out muscled
Hendrick - 7 the one standout in a sea of cr@p
Westwood - 3 anonymous
Lennon - 5 created our 1st with a great run, little after
Wood - 3 useles if we play 1 up top and Wood is that 1. He needs someone with him

Taylor - 3 Woeful. The lad simple can't defend. Time and time again he showed the player inside and allowed them to get a shot off. The 4th goal was inevitable. He does little going forward and does little to help his fullback out or as a fullback
Vokes - 4
Barnes - 4

What was he actually doing when Schurrle went 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper? Did he stop and start tying his shoe lace?

Not really, neither did Wood who was on a lot longer, but at least they competed for the standard 25 mins they are on.

Same with JBG, for the time he was on the pitch he didn't do anything to mark any lower than a 5 unless you're counting getting injured??

Hart 7 Made some decent saves but we miss Pope A LOT
Lowton 3
Tarks 5 Tried hard but got brushed aside for second goal
Mee 4 Not the player he was last season
Ward 3 Same as Mee -1 for pathetic defending for third goal which killed us
Lennon 4 inc 1 for for cross for equaliser
Cork 4 Overrun
Westwood 3 shocking
JBG n/a has looked unfit since coming back from WC and needs a long break to regain full fitness Today was an injury waiting to happen
Hendrick 5 inc 1 for goal which he did his best to miss but in fairness he did get into a good position.
Wood 3 Because I cant give less. If he is our star striker we are in BIG trouble

Taylor 3 Felt sorry for him because he has no clue how to play left side midfield
Barnes 3 Added nothing
Vokes 3 added nothing

Fans ( 1500) On a sunday in London after Athen midweek they deserve much much better
Sean. In football you are only as good as your recent form. We have only won 3 points from our last 8 PL games and our 3 games this season were all games we would have got results from last season . I have to say that the team and the Manager looked out of their depth today. Whatever has gone wrong needs rectifying very quickly.

That was a shambolic performance. Defensively all over the show and our threadbare midfield was overrun at times. Easily the poorest performances I've seen from Cork & Westwood. Not sure what the free agents on the market are like but we need more bodies in.

There is a lot of expectation resting upon the shoulders of Defour, Brady & Vydra. It looks like it could be a long old season.

Oh boy, 10 goals conceeded in 3 games and no wins in 8 90 minute games this season.

Hart.6. Apart from the second goal I thought he had an okay game.
Lowton. 6. Okay. Just.
Mee. 5. Just not himself. Perhaps disappointed that nobody came in for him in the summer?
Tarks. 7. Difficult to pick a mom but apart from one silly challenge and booking though he looked decent.
Ward. 5. Poor. Terrible on the third goal.
Lennon. 5. Nice assist on the first goal but after that he flattered to deceive as usual.
Cork.5. Perhaps his worst game for us.
Hendrick. 5. At fault on their first goal.
Westwood. 5. Largely invisible.
JBG. NA. Not on for twenty minutes.
Wood. 4. Created space for Hendrick on the first goal but nothing else. Just not working in a 451.

Barnes and Vokes 4 each

Hart - 6 badly missed pope for their 2nd, little chance with the others

Lowton - 5

Tarkowski - 7 our best player by miles

Mee- 5 sloppy

Ward - 3 been poor for ages now and he was e tirely to blame for the killer 3rd

Cork - 6

Westwood- 6

Hendrick - 6

Lennon - 6 why push him out left when ward went off? Bizarre

Wood - 3 awful again

Taylor - 5 needs games at left back in place of ward

Vokes - 5 at least had an effort at goal

Barnes - 3 nothing

What's really daft aboit this game is that for long periods it was pretty even, we gifted them 3 goals and were chasing it so the 4th late on was always likely.

At 3-2 we should be getting ourselves a draw. Goes back to consistency again for me. Should be playing our strongest team on all fronts. Massive game on Thursday for us to ignite our season.

Hart 5 - I think the defence does not trust him. Not do I! 1 excellent save. Their 2nd, he should be shot.
Lowton 5
Tarkowski 8 good display and goal.
Mee 5
Ward 5
Lennon 4 pointless. All his previous ability to beat a man has gone.
Westwood 5
Cork 6
Hendrick 7 good goal
Wood 4 gets lost

Taylor 5
Vokes 5
Barnes 5

Great pity. We need to get a grip and play like we mean it - like we have over these past years. The Euro is just like the league cup, we are fit enough to play that.

Ooof

Hard watch overall, but we certainly should be taking better decisions when we get the ball, and I was weirdly confident that we'd get something throughout the second half until our complete inability to do anything with the ball correctly submerged me into gloom.

Course, its only a football match and we massively overachieved last year but its still seems like we are in danger of starting the season with a major wobble. Injuries were always going to be a killer, and today was no exception and its looking again like we certainly ended the transfer window a player of two short.

Hart 6 - not at fault, but he wouldn't be human if he didn't start thinking "this lot were ace at the back last year, could it possibly be me?"
Lowton 5 - not good, in anything to be honest
Mee 5 - signed a new contract and appears to have forgotten what a good defender he is
Tarkowski 7* - best player by a country mile
Ward 4 - poor for two goals, really struggling which is such a shame as he's been so consistent
JBG N/A
Hendrick 6 - fine, though not sure he ever envisaged being the chief set piece taker
Cork 6 - didn't control it as much as he should have but best of the midfield
Westwood 5 - recycles the ball well but killer passes, or even ones that cause problems are not his forte.
Lennon 5 - did well for the first goal, but never really in it
Wood 5 - nothing

Subs
Vokes 5
Barnes 5
Taylor 6 - needs a run in the side as left back, but how he's going to manage that with only one fit wide man is beyond me.

Awful, dreadful, dull, dreary and boring performance. If a Dyche side can't defend then they might as well go home because they sure as hell won't be able to create anything or use possession with any sort of purpose.

Shocking start to the season really and if I have to listen to the manager bang on about how much money another team has spent I'll have a fit. Even teams with no money can still find a way to pass the football.

Lennon 4
Westwood 4
Cork 6
Hendrick 7
Wood 6

Awful defending and zero creativity in Midfield. Westwood is not good enough. Put Hendrick back in the midfield to play alongside Cork and get the chec firing.
Hart should have done better with one of the goals he doesn't command his box like Pope.
In the 2nd half we offered nothing and looked like a championship outfit

Hart 6- partly at fault for second goal when flapped at cross to back post.
Lowton 5- given the run around and not as influential going forward.
Ward 5- pretty much same as lowton
Mee 4- should have done better with clearance that resulted in corner for second. Not seen him bullied as much since the wba drubbing two seasons ago.
Tarkowski 5- one mark for the goal but like Mee couldn't handle mitrovic.
Westwood 3- slow on ball which meant losing possession and taking no pressure off defence also two crosses were very poor.
Cork 4- one of my favourite players but nowhere near is standards.
Lennon 5- ok in first half but again lacked enough end product.
Jbg 4- the lad seems delicate needs to get on ball more.
Hendrick 6- had a good spell in first 10 minutes of second half. Ball ran kindly for him for goal
Wood 3- Did he play.
Taylor 4- A left midfielder he is not didn't help defensively either.
Barnes 5- not his best game but a bit hard to get in to a game that was drifting away
Vokes 6- at least got an effort on goal. Would benefit from the service mitrovic got for fulham

Get back to basics. Get out of Europe, get back to a Dychelike 442, where the midfield protect the defence and we play with two proper strikers up front.

No creativity, no pace, no service to strikers, Fulham had all 3 and more.

Tarks 7 - did his job well, a couple of quality tackles, stole a goal and he kept his cool
Hendricks 7 - grabbed a goal and worked his arse off

Westwood 5 - not his best game
Taylor 5 - square peg in a round hole on the wing, didn't seem to flick the switch and settle in when he was dropped back

Wood 4 - no comment

Everyone else gets a 6 for turning up and running about

Hart - 8 12 shots on target 8 saves. Pulled two out of the net
Lowton - 5 struggled a lot
Tarkowski - 5 point for the goal but lost Mitrovic for his first goal. Looked shaky at times
Mee - 5 point for the assist but then deducted for the catastrophic schoolboy error for the corner that led to second goal which changed the game.
Ward - 4 if he holds the line then Mitrovic is 5 yards offside for the third. Missing his mate Brady big time.
JBG - 5 did not do a lot before he went off
Westwood - 5 over run at times. Not the usual battling display.
Cork - 5: some decent touches but no telling contribution today
Lennon - 5 decent assist but doesn't really provide any service to the front men. Needs to watch some videos of Tin man.
Hendrick - 6 got a bit lucky with the goal but thought Jeff was probably one of our better outfield players.
Wood - 5 to say he did nothing is rubbish, but the trouble is most of headers he won and balls held up were out wide. He needs to stay in the centre of the pitch more for me.

Vokes - 5 missed a decent chance but no real threat
Barnes - 5 did nothing of any note
Taylor - 5 beginning to look out of his depth easily turned , has no pace and stands too far off the man as a result.

Dyche needs to pick a team that excludes Lennon and Taylor. He could play Barnes out wide for example. Bardsley & Long need to be considered after the last two shows. Same team same substitutions as last week = same result. Something needs to change as we made Fulham look like Brazil today.

If you think our defending was awful, you might want to score our defenders to reflect that. You've rated our back 5 (with the exception of Lowton) as 6 out 10 (average).

;)

Awful showing that easily could have ended with an even more embarrassing scoreline. The team is looking in a poor state at the minute, and it's up to Dyche to lift them and get them playing close to their best again, because we are miles away from that right now.

Our summer transfer dealings are also looking worse and worse with each passing week. We are well short.

.

Agree, I have been generous to the back 4

Defending is a team game and the back 4 had no help whatsoever from the midfield. Our midfield are truly woeful and they offerd nothing either attacking or defending and that is why I marked them lower. Defence should have had 5 and midfield 3

Some very generous ratings for Tarks in here.

Hart - 6 - Should have come for the 2nd but not much to blame him for with the others
Ward - 3 - At sea for their third, poor at best the rest of the time
Mee - 4 - Not a good day
Tarks - 5 - a point for scoring but partly to blame for their second
Lowton - 5
JBG - 5 - not a lot to go on before being injured.
Cork - 5 - not his usual standard
Hendrick - 7 - our best player after being made to look like a rank amateur for their first
Westwood - 4 - has been playing really well, not yesterday. Maybe suffered from missing out Thursday and losing his confidence
Lennon - 5 - a few glimpses but that sums up his time with us so far really
Wood - 4 - a ghost

Taylor - 5
Vokes - 5
Barnes - 5

Hart - 6 haven't seen highlights but feel he was at fault for goal 2. Made some other good saves but also looked a bit shaky. Doesn't inspire with much confidence.
Lowton - 5
Tarkowski - 6 (+1 for the goal)
Mee - 4
Ward - 4
Lennon - 5
Westwood - 5
Cork - 5
Hendrick - 6*
Gudmundsson - 6
Wood - 4

Taylor - 4
Barnes - 5
Vokes - 5

I have waited 2 days to post after i had to watch again

Hart 6
Lowton 4
Tarkowski 4
Mee 3
Ward 3
Lennon 3
Westwood 2
Cork 3
Hendrick 5
Wood 2

Taylor 3
Vokes 4
Barnes 3

Mentioned ages our transfer dealings were nothing short of shambolic while certain people on here stated we had a good window.

Going to be a long hard season and we might even need to go down the route of signing out of contract players as that is how bad it has become.

Finish 7 th and think brilliant we can attract some better players to compete for the first 11 but now we are all hoping that Defour and Brady come back as world beaters and that Vyrda will rip the league up - you are having a laugh.
