Doesn't seem like the happy dressing room it once was, Arfield and Marney frozen out, Marney said he hated it, Arfield had digs at us/Dyche, Walters tweets, the performances and the body language are concerning, one thing you could never attribute to a Dyche side was a lack of effort, some players certainly look guilty of it recently. Wood scored in Greece and didn't even crack a smile, the football has turned our players miserable.warksclaret wrote:Something seriously wrong. Re: Walters
Not surprised Arfield had a dig when he was slagged off nearly every time he played by more than a few in the crowd. Another of our signings not matching the standard required of the fantasy football generation.
Marney was obviously not going to measure up to the rigours of Premier League football given his injury and age.
For Walters and Wells, see Arfield.
Supporting a team is about getting behind them every game and not thinking you are the messiah with all the answers!

I love that the likes of KBFC and Cleveleys can say something that is immediately accepted as gospel.
The fact that they sow **** for fun on every thread without anything to back it up is just conveniently ignored because people are looking for reasons to whinge.
Ignore anything they say, unless they can back it up with something.

Think most of what they post gets ignored due to being very high up on the most clueless on here chart. The fact one of them still walks round in his Owen Coyle mask while hating Dyche tells you everything you need to know about the pathological liar.

Do you get off sexually on making all this stuff up ?
Just to pick out one of your ******** lies which players have not been showing a lack of effort ?
Re: Walters
I didn't make it up, it's my perception of the situation, maybe I'm putting 2 and 2 together and getting 7, most likely am, just a few things have seemed off. I point towards the Taylor moment on Sunday, the time when Hart saved a 1 on 1 from Schurrle, if you watch it back, Taylor just allows him to run through on goal to receive a pass, meanwhile Taylor (a sub) is walking back. Maybe he just gave up, either way, not something you would expect from a Dyche side.TVC15 wrote:What an absolute load of horsesh-it.

And the reason you make it up is it helps justify the views you have always held on Dyche.

These two chumps aren't even clever or subtle with their winding up anymore. It's blatant, it's embarrassing but at least the majority on this board have seen through them - it's taken some longer than others but we got there in the end.

But you are putting two and two together and coming up with 11,678
It wouldn't be a massive stretch just to come up with five and be slightly over the top would it?

Re: Walters
I don't think it's a lack of effort, it's just we can no longer play with all the intensity and physical effort that comes with Dyche's style of play. Dyche's style of play and having the oldest squad in the premier league just simply don't mix. The players are knackered and tired players collect more injuries.KRBFC wrote:Doesn't seem like the happy dressing room it once was, Arfield and Marney frozen out, Marney said he hated it, Arfield had digs at us/Dyche, Walters tweets, the performances and the body language are concerning, one thing you could never attribute to a Dyche side was a lack of effort, some players certainly look guilty of it recently. Dyche should have put his balls on the line in the summer and said to the board, 'I created everything we have today, if your not going to back me i'm off'
Re: Walters
Sounds like he could be off to Ipswich. Should be a good move for the lad, he seems quite popular there from his previous spell. He desperately needs a fresh start somewhere having an unhappy player just hanging around doesn't do anyone any good.

Re: Walters
We just need him off the wage bill. The intention was good with the signing but it's turned out to be a disastrous signing. Wonder how much it has cost us per minute on the pitch and I can hardly remember many quality moments.jrgbfc wrote:Sounds like he could be off to Ipswich. Re: Walters
Worth mentioning that last season achievements far out stripped everyone's wildest dreams, and if we played like we did the season before that, Walters would have fitted in.
Due to us just being better, him getting older and of course the injuries, he's just not had a look in.
It happens and I hope he gets a loan move out of here for the season.

Re: Walters
Bet we'll still be paying at least half of his wage though. Say for arguments sake he's on 20 grand a week, no way Ipswich will be covering that, same probably goes for Wells at QPR.Blackrod wrote:We just need him off the wage bill. Re: Walters
Hmm, have I got this right?
If JBG is out for any length of time we will be down to one first team winger in the form of Lennon. In response to this we might be considering sending Walters out on loan, who can play on the right wing, to save a couple of quid?
Getting injured almost as soon as he came in, which wasn't his fault, denied him the opportunity to gel with the team and fight for a place in the early stages of the season.
By the time he was fit we had an established starting eleven and we were heading into the final stretch of the season which made it hard for him to break through.
I could understand him wanting to leave if a lack of game time was hurting his chances of national team selection, but he just made the national squad.
I could understand him wanting to leave to get more game time, but I suspect he will have a chance of game time here when you take into account our depleted numbers.
At the cost of 16 weeks wages I would keep him here and let him go out on loan or leave on a free in the Winter window if that is what he wants. At the moment we need wingers and he can do a job for us in that position or part of a forward three if we change our formation.
On the other hand if he is causing a stink and ruining the atmosphere, ship him out quickly to anyone who will take him.

Re: Walters
From the twitter reports it lools like Ipswich is a strong possibility (almost done).
I would be cross if thats the case when we are so light. Either its madness given we are struggling out wide or he is causing a stink and we did really bad research last summer.
I thought he was a really good signing last year - the injury was a bit of bad luck and meant we ended up not really seei g him but surely he cant be causi g a rift backstahe - hes been here 12 months. Really poor signing if so.

I could understand offloading Walters if we had surplus numbers in the squad, but we are down to the bare bones in terms of fit personnel can only think he wants to play regular football, and he doesn't feel that will happen at Burnley.

Vokes Wood Barnes
We don't use midfield so let's just bypass it as we have no wingers

dyche told walters he could leave in the summer, he can't really go back on that now. realistically we can't offer him first team football, save for maybe a few games.
he'd have been a good signing; if he hadn't got injured so early last season, we'd have seen a lot more of him i think. shame it hasn't worked out but its just one of those things really.
