Was he even on the bench today? I think it says alot when Charlie Taylor is ahead of him in the pecking order.

Something not right there though. Reading into his tweet he is either injured or fallen out with Dyche.

Good signing, very unlucky with injuries, him leaving Stoke was sole reason they went down. Would have got at least a point today had he been in the dressing room

Re: Walters
Absolutely this. We’d have got a point at least today with Walts in and around it. Top of the list in January should be Crouchy and Charlie Adam, we’re just that bit short of experienced pros in the dressing room. Remember the massive impact Reidy had ?Devils_Advocate wrote:Good signing, very unlucky with injuries, him leaving Stoke was sole reason they went down. I agree, very good signing, unlucky with injury, would have been first choice if fit, (despite never being 4th choice when fit)Devils_Advocate wrote:Good signing, very unlucky with injuries, him leaving Stoke was sole reason they went down. He hasn't been a happy for 6 months, as stated before he will only play as a last resort.
He has distanced himself from his team mates, just like Marney did, whilst others bonded post lunch, they hit the gym alone.
They wasn't nice people to be around, but suppose if you're injured and/or not involved/wanted, it's hard to stay happy.

The big lad needs to a grow a pair. Get him in and amongst it, Bards can assist (and play right wing if required). Bring on Crouchy.MACCA wrote:He hasn't been a happy for 6 months, as stated before he will only play as a last resort.

Hasn't he been told by Dyche he can leave if he can find another club.

We have 1 fit wide player and he's been rubbish, I don't think we can afford to be letting him go.beddie wrote:Hasn't he been told by Dyche he can leave if he can find another club.

We bought Walters because he's good in the dressing room but it transpires that he's sh!t for the dressing room.
At least Steven Reid clapped the lads on, not-so-jolly-Jon seemingly wants nothing to do with the current bunch.

Wow! Some folk really just can’t wait to revel in our current poor predicament, can they? The past few seasons must’ve been hell for them, not having too much to gripe about. They must be like pigs in sh1t now they have free reign to project their self-loathing on the Club they support.

I truthfully don't think it is wanting to revel in our poor fortune. Somebody on here mentioned it last night and it was a lightbulb moment, they said that while we were winning the rubbish football was acceptable but when we aren't even getting the results people inevitably soon voice their displeasure.Lord Beamish wrote:Wow! Now I watch us win in the Premier League and are playing in Europe.A total dream when we were losing at Maidstone in Div4.Its time to back the team and get behind Sean.

A poor do when he can't make the bench ahead of 4 defenders. Our attacking options are limited, get him in there. There's only so much of Lennon doing **** all I can take.

But that would be silly if you'd seen the games, granted the last six months have had some stinkers, but its not the norm if you want to be fair (which you are not trying very hard to do)

Re: Walters
I have been on all the home games and a handful of the away games. Yes I don't dispute its nice getting points against the top clubs with backs to the wall football. That is to be expected. Even I know we cant outplay the top sides. But struggling against Huddersfield, Brighton and teams like that is pretty poor.Lancasterclaret wrote:You could say that if you hadn't been anywhere near any of our games I suppose.

If you had watched us in all the games which I have whether that be through being there (60%) and TV (40%) you cannot say that our football is not boring and uninspiring. I don't mind the backs to wall stuff at times, its to be expected, but we set up the same way against every club.

Re: Walters
But you want it to be dull and inspiring cos you've spent the last twelve hours spamming the board with how **** it all is. You are quite happy to invent stuff to try to back up your points.
If you want to make a general point that we don't play scintillating stuff then that is fine btw, but this season already I reckon we played good stuff at Aberdeen, good stuff first half v Watford, and that isn't even considering all the good games we managed last season.
You've not been alone since yesterday, but its like its a competition to see who can come out with the biggest overreaction to everything.

You are going to report me for this, so feel free.
You don't have a clue about football, you just make stuff up so you feel like you are ITK.
You need to back up the claims you are making. But you can't, so you just post spam like someone who can't handle that people just won't accept that what you say is somehow gospel.
You remind massively of a total bellend I spoke to after a game v Wycombe years ago. Completely adamant that Jamie Hoyland had got himself deliberately sent off so we didn't make the play offs, as he would only get a contract if we stayed in Division Three.
No evidence to back it up, just what he wanted to believe.
Christ, it might even have been you.
Do me (and the board) a favour and just f**k off

Re: Walters
On the basis that he obviously still has worth to his international team. He is still considered a good player and a bit like us right now they have few options. Walters didn't become a bad player overnight. With injuries and limited opportunities he hasn't been given a run in the team to prove himself.
He seems desperate to play and we need another body ready for the fight.
If there is indeed a problem between him and Dyche it's time to shake hands, eat an omelette and get a motivated player back in the fold!
