We look in great need of fresh blood. These three I think will be the answer. All three should be in the starting eleven ASAP.
But when is anyone’s guess!
And Tom! His confidence is missed

Defour is busy with the coffees. Will get back to you.

Those 3 in our starting 11 would massively improve our side. No question.

But will Defour ever come back and have a run in the side? I'm not convinced. Even Brady looks like glass.

I think this is where the club could be a bit better with communication, we could do with a proper response as to when these 3 are due to be back

Defour had op on his knee in ferbruary not pre season. Back from knee op at start of pre season but struggling with calf injury that they can’t get to the bottom of. I’ve heard rumours and hope they aren’t true. Will have to wait and see.

Brady needs a few U23 games without a reaction and should then see him back challenging the 1st team.

He play first half against Montpellier and went off with hamstring injury after about 40/41mins.

I told you it was from memory

Neymar Messi Ronaldo would also massively improve our starting 11. Not much chance of us seeing those 3 either. If we sign players who are either already unfit or have a history of picking up injuries on a regular basis, we cannot feign surprise when they spend most of the season sat in the stands.

Mind sharing the rumors regarding Defour?

We miss Defour and Brady so much.

That team we had at the start of last season was sexual, this is just abject in comparison.

Massive misses but neither look like making a return anytime soon which makes our transfer window all the more baffling.

Defour has one injury a season, usually about 6 games. This was an unusual one. Brady is hardly ever injured. His was a freak one. Vydra had a ropey groin, but had it during last season and again in the summer.

All three you can see why they are being eased back in. I am happy to trust Dyche as to when they are ready. I think he is dropping the ball with selecting the right ones who are fit, but those three I have no problem with. I am sure all three will improve us massively.

Brady has had one bad injury. Hardly makes him 'glass'.

Agree with everything you said, just wish all 3 were fit so we could completely change our dynamic.

I'm all in favour of staying positive but I can't see it's right to suggest we're about to become an entirely different side because of the introduction of;
1) a midfielder who is clearly talented but has never looked cut out for a full PL season since he joined us
2) a winger who before he was injured was often the topic of "can we afford a luxury player who too often doesn't turn up" conversations on here and
3) a forward who's been in English football for 6 or 7 years and has 3 goals in 24 PL appearances (i.e. in the view of WBA wasn't PL standard)

Knowing we'd be without Defour and Brady.
Knowing Vydra was not going to be fit.

To rely just on Joey - summer World cup where he got clattered and an ageing Lennon.
Allowing Scotty to leave seems total madness.
Even letting Wells loan out?

Two should have been brought in / loaned in.

Joey out now so I guess Lowton is our best option to create...

We are going to end up with 2 LBs & 2 RBs on the pitch...

We’ve only won 5 games in 90 mins since Defour got injured (maybe also Brady?).

Those 5 were on the spin. We miss them both so badly.

The only thing that looks like keeping us up at the moment is Viagra not Vydra

Agreed.

We don’t lose these 2 last season and we are already in the EL group stages.

I'd be amazed if we see Defour before Christmas.

Defour another failing of summer. Knew he was injured, knew he was injury prone, yet the best centre mid we could come up with (and didn’t sign anyway) was SAM CLUCAS. Laughable stuff.
