Re: Brian Stock day
We chased Brian Stock for months... I don't know where the club would be today without him.

The first rule on Brian Stock day is you don't ask questions, have some respect for a true hero. The Enclosure wrote:Go on i will bite.....what has Brian done to deserve this accolade?

Re: Brian Stock day
Until we signed Defour, Stock was the last midfielder that we had bought. That was "celebrated" each year as "Brain Stock Day"The Enclosure wrote:Go on i will bite.....what has Brian done to deserve this accolade?

Re: Brian Stock day
It went on for over 4 years. We tried and failed to buy a whole raft of central midfielders in between Stock (2012) & Defour (2016).wilks_bfc wrote:Until we signed Defour, Stock was the last midfielder that we had bought. That was "celebrated" each year as "Brain Stock Day"

Re: Brian Stock day
He's just generally unhappy with the way the club has been run since we signed Brian Stock.

We signed Ulvestad on a free in that period as well.clarets1978 wrote:A free transfer so not a bought midfielder
It was a bit of fun in the context of us going after a seemingly endless list of midfielders, but largely operating with just Marney & Jones for a long time.
