Traffic in town
To all those driving in tonight traffic is already horrendous. Brunshaw road and ormerod road being closed wont help. Will take best part of an hour even from Nelson at minute.

Re: Traffic in town
Burst water main has closed Brunshaw Rd at the bottom of the hill. Not great that with Ormerod Rd already closed for surfacing works. Chaos I'm told by my folks.

Re: Traffic in town
are those temporary traffic lights at the junction of Manchester Road and Finsley Gate still in operation? They've been causing traffic delays for three weeks now.

Yep still there. The whole town is gridlocked. Taken my brother 90 minutes to get into town from work.Sean Dyche's Watch wrote:are those temporary traffic lights at the junction of Manchester Road and Finsley Gate still in operation? They've been causing traffic delays for three weeks now.

Re: Traffic in town
also roadworks near the cinema on Manchester Road, where cars that are going up Manchester Road from Centenary Way are forced to use the hatch markings, which is likely to cause a bottleneck at the top of Centenary Way after the game, as both lanes will be full of traffic.
