Songs to walk out to ...

Post by bfccrazy » Sun Sep 02, 2018 10:48 am

I know we have Arcade Fire and Carmine Burana etc ..

Anybody else agree that it’d be great having a song that the crowd could actually dig along to though when the players come out?

I’d love to hear something simple like Ben E King - Stand By Me being belted out and the whole ground getting involved and just taking over every week.

The Birdie Song would be perfect, it doesn't have any lyrics but the players, mascots and managers and their backroom staff could all dance to it as they came out of the tunnel...

Could we have some music for them coming out in the 2nd half. I was thinking maybe Substitute by the Who to give Dyche a little reminder

I love the idea of a song that is always played and becomes synonymous with Burnley. That song choice isn’t one for me though.

I do like the OPs idea of something that can be sung and / or lyrics are adapted to be relevant to Burnley. I ththink no there was a thread a good few months back - it’s a great idea but nothing ever seems to come of these sort of things.

Some speakers that work would be a good start. Heard nothing of the JM tribute on Sunday, in the Bob Lord. Hearing the same crackle and hissing as me, I’d hope that one of the board has raised the issue.
