Talking of proof reading. BBC Look North presenter Beckie Barr ( I think innocently) said Jimmy McIroy played for Blackburn, when reading out the News of his death.
Burnley born BBC chief Peter Salmon, would have cringed at that comment. I wonder if he made the person responsible for the mistake, suffer his wrath.
