Does that mean that a ST holder with 6000/4000 points can purchase 2 tickets even if the person for the 2nd ticket doesn't have the required points?

You would assume so, just like a ST holder can still use his CN to purchase tickets for his friends without a CN.

I think this one will be more popular than the club thinks. A ground we've never played at before, and the rare chance to stand on a terrace, not too far away either. Still think everyone who wants a ticket will get one but potentially someone with a load of points could buy a ticket for their mate who never been to a game in their life, but a season ticket holder misses out, how is that fair?

It's the "home" away game I've been wanting for years - just ten minutes from me.

How are sales going for this?

I genuinely thought this would be sold out by now, being a “tick” for all.

Me too, there's also a genuine chance of an upset, I think if we play how we know we can, we may nick it... ;)

I certainly misread this one - been on general sale for five days now and still both seats and standing tickets available

To be fair, the only thing to get fans to part with their hard earned at the moment would be the tick.

Understrength team a certainty, Dyche's apathy towards cup competitions has spread to the fans.

There is usually a rush for tickets when there is a tick to be had.

Yup, might have gone for the FA Cup, but you know this a basically an u-23 game. Probably for Burton too.

There are also probably Clarets from Manchester (or nearby) that would love to go. But there is unfortunately no train from Burton after 10pm :(

Hard to blame people really with Dyche's pathetic attitude towards the cups. I'm starting to regret buying my ticket to be honest. Especially if we don't win on Saturday it's a good chance to get a win under our belts and gain some confidence and momentum.

Will yesterday's result tempt a few more into going on Tuesday then?

It will be a sell out... especially if Defour may be seen. Things are starting to look better.

Well we've only been allocated a tiny number of seats and haven't even sold them yet.

I've got a free - as in no cost to you - ticket going for the Burnley end if it's any good to you. I'll be in the main stand with some ex work colleagues.

We were allocated 400 seats. Is that really a tiny amount?

If you dont want to go thats fine, why make a song and dance about it?

The game is on a Tuesday night, minimum 2 hour journey by road from Burnley, perhaps up to 1 hour longer if the M6 is at its chaotic best. A lot of people wont be able to finish work early enough to make the journey.
If we have around 1500 fans there that would be an excellent turn out, and probably half of the total attendence for the game.

Didn't realise I was making a song and dance about anything. And I will be there, yet I struggle to get a ticket for the more popular away games due to people crawling out of the woodwork who are only interested in going to Old Trafford, Anfield etc.

Think a lot of fans want the experience of the terraces, so the stand is likely to be the least popular option for many people.

Yeah I get that, still plenty of people who prefer or aren't fit enough to stand though.

No other Clarets that I know of in Barton under Needwood - or Chipping Sudbury as others on here prefer it to be known.
Plenty of Villa, Wolves, WBA, Brum, Derby and Burton lads who are quite interested in how well we've performed over the last few seasons.

I bought mine yesterday along with a few more who were in the queue before the game.
Yesterdays game has certainly lifted the spirits as well so should put another couple of hundred on the following.
