She also played Steeds sidekick for a solitary episode of The Avengers before Diana Rigg came along to ply the part of Emma Peel

Played bridge agaist her at Pinner bridge club in the eighties, was a lovely lady, RIP liz

Ah, sad news.

Co-incidentally was watching a documentary about the Carry On franchise just the other night and Liz was on it, came across as very warm and down to earth.

RIP lovely lady.

I immediately thought it was the incredible Cocteau Twins singer when I first saw this. RIP
