Dont want to worry people but the Barnsley match has been abandoned. I just hope that someone at the league doesnt scrub our match from the records in error

Vydra's link up play in the number 10 role just shows how much we have been lacking somebody who can play that role in an attacking sense

I didn't think Vydra would have been able to last the 90. Not a bad replacement though, with keeping 2 up top.

Would have kept him on another 10 mins....if we concede now we will revert to type and start hoofing it putting ourselves under more pressure.

But lets hope not and Wood scores

Most of us wanted him to start and get a chance I think you'll find.

Just needed to wait until he was fit enough to do so.

SD tells us often enough if they are on the bench they are fit enough. Starting him and getting 45/60 mins would have increased our chances early on.

Really liked him from the early glimpses we saw early on in his career with us but looking out of his depth now and again. Think a left back will be on the agenda in January

But bringing on a new player first as sub means SD is thinking of player morale. Buy somebody and tell Hendrick - "Right son, you're out". It can drop heads. Bringing him in gradually eases that risk. I understand 99.9% of football fans aren't bothered about that, but managers are. It's all about man management.
