You've written him off when he hasn't had much game time.

Ward has been outstanding during that same time

Ward was at Burnley about 18 months before he managed to break into Burnleys Championship side and Tarks took around the same time to become first choice

Im not convinced yet by Taylor but Dyche has a habit of bringing through his defenders slowly and successfully so id be inclined to give Taylor the same courtesy afforded to your Irish pin up boy

Ashley Barnes really is a top notch finisher. When we look back at his goals he is a natural goalscorer

Agree with this 100%. Also not fully convinced but he has come from a team where he had a license to roam forward. I think mentally he is struggling in SD is happy him getting down the line but not forgetting his defensive duties. Once he gets this....which I think he will in time and with games we may have a very good player on our hands

Was just saying to the other half. We just need something to fall our way and confidence will grow. Still thought we looked nervy when my link died but this will be a real fillip for the players.

Just goes to show as that what SD said about players competing for the shirt is 100% correct. A few now know Defour and Brady are close to coming back and reclaiming the shirt and then the players whom they are breathing down the necks of put in a performance like that. Just shows what a couple of extra bodies in the window would have done (but lets not get into that todays amazing performance)

Great performance and great win.

Defending was quite poor for for a 4 nil.

I give all players time but I am worried about a left back that is so poor defensively. We should have conceded at least twice from Taylor’s inept defending.
