Mighty Clarets versus Bornmuff

Post by IanMcL » Sat Sep 22, 2018 8:46 am

I am off to the match now and given the usual journey time, with roadworks, thought it best to post early.

Madge is making her way there too, although she must be walking all the way from Holycustard''s cupboard.

Catch you later.

Up the Clarets.

The matchday thread mob are complete today with a bit of Japanese sushi with the added kick of wasabi! That should be enough to see off those Southern woofters! Looking forward greatly to my first minute - by - minute on here with you all which is always full of humour, be it gallow or not. Always fun until the miserable sods turn up 30 minutes later!!!!!

COME ON BURNLEY!!!!!!!

Checking in from the sunny Costa del Sol. Watching Jeff Stelling at the moment, but will be setting off soon for the Lounge in Benalmadena to watch the boys. I hope Sean Dyche picks a positive, winning team today. Looking forward to a few cans of John Smiths and a Claret's win!!

Yup! I'd take a 90th minute 1-0 in off their keepers arse.

Not many end a poor run with a win. Usually takes a couple of draws to turn the corner but hope I’m wrong. Draw for me, 0-0. The clean sheet would help confidence.

Afternoon all from a overcast day here in Galway , now a bit of rain this morning but no wind hey after Ali blew into and out of town that has to be a plus .
Right i have my ideas on today's game but want to see us score first that will set up us like last season bring out the Cherries and hit them when they are pushing forward .
If i am honest i see a 1-1 scoreline , now if we take the lead we will win 1 or 2 nil .

Thrilled Lowton is back - looks well-balanced but surprised Hendrick isn`t playing (and he is far from one of my favourites!).

Looks a very good selection as I see it, only on paper of course but nevertheless a good “attacking” line up.

Promising team with Lowts and Vydra in. Would like to see McNeil or Hendrick in for Lennon and give Wood and Vydra a start together but gives a bit of hope. Biggest worry is we are playing a good side in form who if they click into gear quickly might be too good for us at the minute

I would have preferred Hendrick to Lennon, since the latter offers the team nothing. Hope I'm proved wrong. Come on you Clarets. Setting off for the Lounge bar.

Have you uninstalled SM and reset up from the current Repo? Matchday has been pretty much faultless for Prem football all season. You do need a VPN and I think you can only watch through Kodi now (though that could have changed)

Nevertheless im sure you'll still be able to see how bias and anti Burnley the ref is listening to the radio

I suspect Lennon is in to try and keep Ryan Fraser quite who is VERY quick and bang in form

Like the look of that lieup but would of preferred Hendrick to Westwood but with Vydra and a more attacking look to the side I can jnderstand us not wanting our midfielders to roam forward too much

Should be on the pitch IMO but finally we have something close to a “difference maker” on our bench. Versatile too.
