VYDRA STARTS

Post by warksclaret » Sat Sep 22, 2018 2:08 pm

That's good news-also Lowts back. Lennon maybe lucky to start but time to be paying SD back for his loyalty

Lennon needs a performance today. Hopefully Vydra will be a proper number 10 and Lennon will be allowed to actually be a winger today

Pray Vokes/Vydra comes together like Vokes/Ings.

Lennon, Jbg and Vydra have all been top draw. And vokes has brought them all into play. Lowton too.

He did, but I think SD was right not to rush him back too soon.

Gives us the option to go through the middle and not just down the flanks. Fantastic performance so far

Playing Vydra really seemed to help our wide players. Because we werent just going down the flanks and we had the option of going through the middle they werent able to double up as much on our wide players.

Also what a great finish....put his foot right though for power but composed enough to place it with his sidefoot. Little bit of class and composure we have been missing in that role. No offence meant to Hendrick who has been helping by putting in his all in an unfamiliar role

Credit to Dyche for easing him up to PL speed and standard patiently.
Let's have the same careful approach with Brady and Defour.

Funnily enough i actually thought it was harsh on hendrick not to start ahead of westwood.

Some very tidy play today and on a number of occasions I applauded some of the things which didn't quite work out because he was always looking forward and being positive with the ball. Seems to have a knack of being in the right place at the right time too which is handy.

Aye. There was a ball down the line in the first half that none of our other forwards would have got to, but he did.

The sort of forward that we've needed for a while now. Let's hope that our Czech mate keeps it up.

He's also now scored 2 in 2. He's popping up in the right place at the right time and nicking goals. He'll be one of the differences this season that keeps us up.

Impressed by his anticipation of the ball going loose and his speed in getting there

He’s the missing link in our system. Can’t wait to see more of him. Once Defour is fit and threading balls through it will be like watching a new team.

When was the last time we had two different European players on the scoresheet?
