Give them a few weeks to get sussed and they'll struggle.

Only 5 points ahead of us.
Now the Claret machine has finally been fired up we will catch them in no time.

Why are you talking about expected goals in relation to shots on target?Spijed wrote:Yet have scored less than us!

Wolves has more shots than most from raids down our left hand side. There was 3 or 4 in the first half last week

We'll see what their defence is made of when other sides adapt.

I think that performance by Wolves last week was the best by a non top six side that I’ve seen against us in the Premier League. Given they didn’t have their shooting boots on either I can only see them getting* better.

if they struggle in defence (which they wont because they keep the ball alot) then they'll go and spunk another 100 million in January. Wolves are trying to copy Man City in their "project" and will be pushing the big 6 sooner rather than later. Another once great club lost to moneyevensteadiereddie wrote:We'll see what their defence is made of when other sides adapt.

F***ing hell are we not over clubs having sugar daddies yet? I often wonder, with that way of thinking, what some supporters would do if we sold out to some Chinese investors. Just stop supporting us? Get over it.Vegas Claret wrote:if they struggle in defence (which they wont because they keep the ball alot) then they'll go and spunk another 100 million in January. Over what ? All I've stated are facts, if you interpreted that as anything else then you need to have a word with yourself and your imaginary agendaWinstonswhite wrote:F***ing hell are we not over clubs having sugar daddies yet? Maybe I should have used the word traditional rather than great. I'd say it also depends what your definition of great entailsClaretAndJew wrote:But if the money gets then success surely they are a great club?

I think the problem with that level of thinking, not to be critical of your opinion, is that, like other businesses, footballl clubs have to evolve and what was “traditional” 40 years ago isn’t traditional now. Things move forward , money talks, for better or worse.Vegas Claret wrote:Maybe I should have used the word traditional rather than great. It's only going to get worse. When Leeds come up at the end of the season, I'm sure they'll get huge investment and will soon be trying to do exactly the same thing. Only a matter of time before from 1 to 20 is complete with billionaire owners.Vegas Claret wrote:if they struggle in defence (which they wont because they keep the ball alot) then they'll go and spunk another 100 million in January. Re: Wolves have had more shots on target than most teams
lads, I never once said it was a good or bad thing, I just said they if they have issues in defence they'll throw money at it cause they can. They are another footy club lost to money and that is fact, it doesn't matter if we agree with it or not it's happened and will keep doing so
