I love the pic of the 3rd goal as how many had their hands on their heads in the Bob Lord .

Nice report and catchy headline. I think the pre-match eatery might have had something to do with the change of fortune. Either that or the fact that I cleared out Heys Butchers of all their Jimmy Macs just minutes before they closed!!

Hadn't spotted that, frustration when JBG's shot hit the post.

A nice read.
Interesting footnote re: attendance.
Could it be that the doom and gloom affects the fairer weather fan?
Hopefully folks will at least default to a more optimistic frame of mind towards the Club now.
A loyal Burnley fan told me we were as good as relegated on Friday.

Burnley 4, Bournemouth 0 goes into the same category as Buffalo 27, Minnesota 6 in the NFL yesterday. Like, where did that come from?

Agree about the attendance. Not good enough. What is the matter with some people. What do they expect?

How many did Bournemouth bring?

I would say about 350 / 400 looking at it from the BLS.

A good friend of mine is just the same - VERY quick to become excessively negative.
When I point out to him that we're only a few games into the season and that Brady and Defour will be back soon, he says "Yeah, but..." and there's nothing after the 'but'!
It seems like he's conditioned to jump into the Negative Mine whenever someone reminds him that it's just over there - behind the hazard tape that's fastened to the fence on the other side of the moat!
(I guess there are some on here that will say that makes me a happy clapper and my pal a realist!)

There was a bloke used to go to the cricket and we always nicknamed him Yes But.

Someone would get a 100 and you'd dare to see he'd batted well. The response would always be something like" Yes, but he should have got 150."
