Worst manager in our history in Cups. In our top three or four in the league.

Baffling.

Simple ball into our area and our CHs are Lowton and Ward.

Only won 1 game in normal time over 30 odd games. No worries lads that 4-0 against Bournemouth will look good on the highlights DVD

Hands up anybody who’s surprised. SD doesn’t do cups.

Can’t wait for the FA Cup draw to see who will knock us out of that.

How bloody depressing.
We must be a lower leagues dream draw in the cups.

Let's batter Cardiff then.
Cheers for the company.

To be fair we did enough to win, I doubt it was a management decision to lose.
If I were the chairman I'd be starting to get a little concerned at how easily we are getting beaten at present.

we have only one one league game , just on brink of getting some key players back, european foray was pointless, we are limited squad wise, so league status is everything, dyche sends teams on in **** like this tonight because he has too, not because he wants too.

Given our pathetic results in cup competitions - out of two before the end of September - under Sean Dyche I would suggest we send out the U 18 team.next cup game. He should have played the team that played on Saturday.

Think you’ll find we’ll never win that, but we might be able to win a cup, and getting a bye to the third round and drawing the lowest ranked team in it should have been a good place to start.

That’s what football used to be about - winning stuff...

It's so disappointing from a fans point of view not having a good cup run.

Everyone knows it's not the end of the world, but it takes the fun out of being a supporter.

We don't mind getting beaten, but we gave it away again.

He just doesn’t help himself does Sean serving up a load like this.

I hope in the FA cup if we are drawn away that the club will compensate the fans going to watch us get dicked by a lower league club again.

Dyche has been fantastic for our club, please don’t forget that. Last season was something we could only dream of. I never thought I’d see us in the top division never mind finishing 7th and entering a European competition. Yes our domestic cup games have been disastrous under Dyche, but just look where we are. Yes tonight was **** but UTFC

If Dyche had any backbone, which I doubt, he would take a risk and put out a side with the priority of giving the fans a run to make up for Europe’s debacle.

Instead we got six changes, good players but some barely match fit and others badly out of form (Wood, Ward). Fluency is all but impossible.

He’s so pragmatic he daren’t take a risk of harming the league so seasons become devoid of much excitement. I can see why he does it but it doesn’t make it more palatable.

But we'll always have that year we finished just above Leicester. Or was it Watford? It was definitely behind Arsenal. But maybe just ahead of Bournemouth. I think.

That's what we'll tell our grandchildren. What a tale. Much better than if we could get to a cup final.

It might have been Everton, actually, now I think of it.

Like being back in the lower league.

Dyche sent a good enough team out to win, players take some responsibility
