Well I read he was being fast tracked to the premier league, if true God help us, he was dire.

Gave us goal kicks when Long kicked it out, used the "advantage" option as and when he liked, and wasn't consistent with the awards of free kicks.

Trying to work our what he was going to give was marginally more fun than watching our ‘efforts’ in the last half hour. Giving us a goal kick when Kevin Long hoofed the ball out was a really tremendous piece of officiating.

We're in trouble if this bloke is getting fast tracked. Saw him in a friendly at Preston a couple of years ago when he was dreadful, he's had some mares on TV and he did his utmost to spoil it last night by not allowing the game to flow. Just the sort of referee we don't want or need.
