Got a point about the refs as Colin. And I also thought Lowts was sailing close to the wind with persistent fouling. But to counter that no way would Arter have gotten away with some of them crunching tackles against the big boys but Atkinson was happy to let them go against us today.

Sorry, but if Dyche was pleased with that it's time for a change.

Sean being a bit economical with the truth really, and disappointed about the little dig at the Europa league qualifiers there..
Thought what Colin said reasonable, apart from his team were super... played better than us but that’s not difficult with our out and out anti football.

Perfect performance for Dyche that. Play godawful football and grind out a win, the sort of stuff he dreams about I bet.

Colin on form. It’s nice having a sly dig saying none of our players played well. He would have Guddy, Sam and Joe in his team given half a chance. Perhaps he should try to be better than a poor man’s Stoke.
The game has moved on in the last ten years Colin lad...best of luck on the Championship next year.

How can Dyche say that Cardiff were playing long ball?
No wonder Colin took umbrage at that comment

Also he would only have 3 of our players? So you saying 8 of his are better than 8 of ours?

They were certainly playing long throws.
Seemed to be all they had.

Yes a lot of long throws but when they passed it they ran rings around us. Shame for them they have Madine and the like up front. If they had our strikers they would have hammered us todayElectroClaret wrote:They were certainly playing long throws.

Re: Dyche post match interviews v Cardiff
If all you have is throw ins it really will be a struggle.
If the ref does his job and gives us a pen it would have been easier. Cardiff ain’t good enough. Ultimately Hart only made 2 decent saves as I can remember. We basically did nothing to score 2 goals and should have had a pen.
It lacks class what Colin said about our team. One day he may get a team to 7th in the prem...unfortunately he ain’t good enough to do that

Agreed, but their strikers are shite. They can't defend, either. That's why they're going down.

I would take what he said with a pinch of salt. He doesnt care what anyone outside of his club thinks of him. He is building a siege mentality. Dont know where they will pick up points mind because as I have said their strike force is as bad as ever seen in the premiership in my opinion.Hibsclaret wrote:If all you have is throw ins it really will be a struggle.

No other manager slates opposition players about how they have played. Lacks class and sums him up. Pinch of salt or no salt I’m entitled to my opinion. He has always been like this and will never change just like he will never be a quality prem manager like our gaffer

Premier manager that never gets job offers even though there must be more than 10 managerial changes a yearHibsclaret wrote:No other manager slates opposition players about how they have played. I’m pretty sure it’s against Premier League rules to offer the manager of another club a job. Not that it has any relevance to Dyche’s quality as a manager.Cleveleys_claret wrote:Premier manager that never gets job offers even though there must be more than 10 managerial changes a year

Seriously give it a rest - you are painful. Starting the same boring threads every week. Just put your views on the players ratings thread and stop repeating the same old boring sh-it.

I am pretty sure this has been made up. Maybe there is an unwritten rule between chairman but no way would this be enforceable. Let me think....because they made an illegal approach which in turn unsettled him causing him to become disillusioned at the club and ended up with him at loggerheads at the watford board because after Evertons approach they refused him permission to talk with them.Rileybobs wrote:Why were Everton investigates over the hiring of Silva?

Re: Dyche post match interviews v Cardiff
For once that wasnt me. We need Vokes when on the back foot and defending so many high balls like today. I do feel though he is better off the bench when we want to close the match out. Games like today he looks like he is done for after 70 mins and we lose all attacking prowess by keeping him on as he is usually nlowing out of his backside after constant running from box to box defending corners then trying to attacktim_noone wrote:A poster mentioned vokes being sh!te and to take him off.....I'm sure he got the winner? There was meant to be a gentleman's agreement in place AFTER the Coyle saga.Cleveleys_claret wrote:I am pretty sure this has been made up. Maybe there is an unwritten rule between chairman but no way would this be enforceable. I give you Owen Coyle
I think Silva is the first time it's happened since then.

OK. So how do you suppose Dyche should get job offers?Cleveleys_claret wrote:Having already agreed the terms with Silva before asking Watford for permission to speak with him
As I said in my original post, it’s against Premier League rules to offer another Premier League manager a job, I should have added ‘without his employer’s permission’. Although your point about the ‘gentleman’s agreement’ is also a very credible reason why Dyche may not have received any job offers.
Although you have no idea whether or not he’s had any job offers anyway so it was a rather pointless snipe.

RE.Vokes Agreed C.C.
Re: Dyche post match interviews v Cardiff
You are not allowed to approach another manager in this league.
It is against league rules.
Yes it’s pretty impossible to police but if you report another club for doing this it’s gets investigated by the league.
Obviously the way round this is for agents to talk and for a manager to then wangle his own move by sorting out his contract and then resigning - just like Judas did.
My guess would be that Dyche has had several approaches like this but he has a lot more integrity and loyalty.

Apart from Murphy having a good game I thought we played well in the first half especially. It’s notveasy getting points in the premier league. We were spoilt last year. This was a good result.
