It's embarrassing
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Dyche’s tactics are dreadful.
How the hell did we ever become so awful to watch? I’ve seen better quality up Towneley.

Worst ive seen us at home.for years
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Absolute dross and extremely worrying. The fact Dyche is STILL starting Barnes and Vokes together is frightening.
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Dinosaur tactics from a dinosaur manager, appalling stuff again.

Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
We are to intent in getting in 2 banks of four. Today was absolute garbage, we are becoming to predictable there is no passion out there we are just going through the motions. That's the last three games where we have been very fortunate to get anything from them. Then we wonder why we last every week on MOTD and why we are not on more on sky........rant over!!!

Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Nothing wrong with starting them if we had anybody. other than JBG, who could get the ball to them.RVclaret wrote:Absolute dross and extremely worrying. The fact Dyche is STILL starting Barnes and Vokes together is frightening.
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
The worst part was that there was no urgency to win. The players didn't seem to care.
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
No surprise, we’re dogger
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
long ball after long ball after long ball. tediously ineffective and boring to watch. clueless all over the pitch.

Ironically, we seem to do better against better sides. Cardiff, Huddersfield, Burton... rubbish. Bournemouth and Southampton, better.IndigoLake wrote:Just wait until we come up against a half decent team.

Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
I'm just waiting for Burnley to be prosecuted for stealing four points in the last two games! Then again, we make our own laws and the Lady of justice seems to agree..for now.. UTC!
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Quite incredible that after all that ineffective hoofball against Cardiff, Dyche looked at it and decided the solution was even more ineffective hoofball and changed the lineup that won 4-0 at home two weeks ago. It is completely his fault.

Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Chris Wood has won a competition to play up front
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
I reckon it's more to do with scoring 30 goals in a 5 in midfield system with a real number 10 behind him and a side that looked to create genuine chances in possession. Could just be me like.Melbourneclaret wrote:Chris Wood has won a competition to play up front

Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Oh I know we have. Just getti g it in regards points as it seems happy clappers are more bothered about points. We obviously all are too but some of us have to sit through them performances on the ground whilst the ones happy seem okay watching at home thinking points are all that matters.Blackrod wrote:How many was it that we got before and what was the football like ? Us paying fans like to be entertained now and again.

Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
And people say he's far better than Allerdyce, pulis and Pardew with what they served up, really?
I knew what I'd get when watching an Allerdyce team, and you'd see the plan, at the moment I've not a clue what we are trying to do or what the plan is.
To put it bluntly it's just rubbish!

There were boos for sure but not from a vast majority. How can you say that?Cleveleys_claret wrote:For all the Hppy clappers that werent at the game and question me when i say fans are starting to tire of dycheball, the boos were from a vast majority today who are sick of this dirge served up every week
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Some people hear what they want to hear. There was quite a bit of booing but to suggest it was from the vast majority would be stupid.Stayingup wrote:There were boos for sure but not from a vast majority. How can you say that?
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Correct. There was booing from a minority. I was in Bob Lord where there was a bit of booing but not that loud, although Ian Moan, sorry Woan turned and glared at people behind him. BTW why did he get involved in that heated argument with Huddersfield’s Lowe? Made him look a tool in my opinion.taio wrote:Some people hear what they want to hear. There are several people now who are brave enough to come on this message board and criticise our style of play and Dyche’s tactics. Yes we are bloody awful to watch this season and appear devoid of ideas. However, I may get pelters for this but if we look back to our successful 2017/18 season, I cannot remember more than about half a dozen games where we were good to watch?

Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Well saying majority maybe was slightly wrong. But the fans leaving before the end which was a major increase on our usual games had the fans showing their disdain with their feetStayingup wrote:There were boos for sure but not from a vast majority. How can you say that?
Re: Hanging on against Huddersfield.
Saying the vast majority wasn't slightly wrong. It was just wrong and a huge exaggeration to suit your position.
