He was on about diving again and saying their player should be banned for cheating
This manager should be banned for cheating the fans out of their money, get shut

Re: Dyche post match interviews v Huddersfield
Struggling to see where we "gripped" the game in the first half? We were on the back foot for most of it.
Re: Dyche post match interviews v Huddersfield
It's called masking the performance by talking a lot of nonsense about anything other than his side's abject performance.
To say we should have been out of sight, really?
We had 2 efforts on target , however Huddersfield missed a string of "golden chances" and "nearlys" however didn't work Hart.
We like to have it both ways regarding chances and penalties whilst crying wolf which to which ever suits our egenda/performance at the time.
Take some responsibility!

I think Dyche needs to board up our glass house if he is going to keep throwing this stone, our Ashley is not too bad at the old diving technique,

In his defence it is very foggy round turf moor this season so may not have had a very clear view of the game

I would have thought more of him had he simply said it was a poor performance and we were lucky to get a point, end of.

There's a lot of rediculous things said after football games, however i think even CT could have picked a side today capable of playing no worse than that today.
It was extreamlt predictable from the 2nd minute, you could even guess the subs and the times they'd be made.
It was a totally nothing game ,with around 6 minutes (maximum) of what you could call "quality" from us in 98 minutes....

The complete overreaction from some people on this forum is embarrassing. I mean those calling for Dyche to be sacked. Get a grip, FFS!

I think he's being a bit generous about our first half performance (although I think he was right about the penalty we should have got), but other than that I think he's as generally calling the game accurately enough there (bit of other griping about officials that I could live with out aside).
What do people want - him to lambast the players in the manner of Mourinho? No ta.

Except you are implying that their opinion is worthless and therefore by association they should not complain, as they are "professional whingers".
If you don't like fans opinions don't come onto a a football messageboard.

Dyche coming out and admitting we were dreadful would be a start. We didn't even deserve a point today .claretspice wrote:I think he's being a bit generous about our first half performance (although I think he was right about the penalty we should have got), but other than that I think he's as generally calling the game accurately enough there (bit of other griping about officials that I could live with out aside).

I’m generally surprised at quite how much anti Dyche sentiment there is on here.claretspice wrote:I think he's being a bit generous about our first half performance (although I think he was right about the penalty we should have got), but other than that I think he's as generally calling the game accurately enough there (bit of other griping about officials that I could live with out aside).

Very very level headed is Dyche. Doesn’t get too high with the highs, or low with the lows.
Our next manager will really struggle to achieve the levels this man has. Some people really should be careful what they wish for.

Embarrassing comments from Dyche. “Going into the break on the back of good performances”
Re: Dyche post match interviews v Huddersfield updated
His constant moaning about referees got boring 4 years ago..... A complete lack of respect shown towards the officials by consistently criticising them publicly.

We don’t get penalties blah blah blah. We don’t get them cos we aren’t set up in a fashion which means we often get into the box. Yawn.

I actually think he is very level headed in pretty much all his interviews. We know he considers psychology a lot when it comes to player management, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a consideration when he is putting together his post match thoughts for the cameras.Granny WeatherWax wrote:Embarrassing comments from Dyche. “Going into the break on the back of good performances”
Don’t see any embarrassing. It was poor today (second half particularly), I believe he pretty much says that in the interview.
Re: Dyche post match interviews v Huddersfield updated
Say it how it is, don't gloss over it. It gives the fans confidence that he can identify the issues and will deal with them. It also makes the fans feel that we are not being treated as idiots. It Huddersfield has the quality up front the score line would have been embarrassing as with Cardiff and Wolves. Last season the defence was strong which prevented the opposition scoring despite their possession, this season its the inability of the opposition to score.

Can you be more specific than '4 years ago'? Was there a particular fixture you have in mind or did you just pluck that figure out of thin air? Why? He's fulfilling a contractual obligation to carry out interviews. He saw the game, fans saw the game. He responds in a manner that he's judged is most beneficial for us. Why do people get carried away with the spin a manager puts on a performance? Means nothing.gtclaret wrote:Say it how it is, don't gloss over it.
