If he thought he could get them up it would be a no brainer for him but I think he's lost a bit of confidence and is hanging on a bit at Burnley

SD is here for the foreseeable future in my opinion, i know like everyone else, we are playing crap at the moment and i cant see any other manager changing that, it seems that were in a rut somewhat and we cant get out of it, i hope SD stays at our great club and can somehow find the answer to improve our form, as in the past, we always seem to play our best football when the opposition is one of the better teams in the PL, so im not giving up hope just yet, 7 points from the last 3 games is encouraging but the performance over the last 2 games has been, awful, lets hope the break will prove beneficial to the lads and in particular our injury list, some massive games upcoming so lets get behind SD and his players and im sure we can stay out of the relegation zone. keep the faith guys, it cant get much worse. An excellent post.

Dyche won't go to Villa because they have a poor squad which will not improve, even at Championship level, until significant investment is made.
Their para payments end this season..............
He's managing BFC in the Prem and will continue to do so until all the also-ran clubs are as wealthy as Wolves and we find it absolutely impossible to compete.

But we'd almost certainly be relegated as we'd lose too many points, whilst any new manager got up to speed.

Depends who the new manager was. Most teams get a new manager bounce..

It’s not looking to great under Dyche as it is. We are playing utter dog turd and scraping by against the worst teams in this division. Plus I don’t trust Dyches recruitment as he is way too rigid with his targets.

At this moment in time we stil look a better bet to stop up than the current three plus teams like Southampton. If Zaha gets injured they are in trouble as well.

People really do need to be careful what they wish for. I saw the late 70's / early 80's plummet through the division's with the club under the ownership of Bob Lord and a succession of managers making the best of a bad job under a dictatorial Chairman.
We then clawed our way back up and spent many seasons in the Championship where we'd breath a sigh of relief if we hit forty points and safety by early April. It was on this basis that 'success' was measured.
Aston Villa ownership is currently in turmoil and has little stability. Indeed Sean Dyche signed a new contract at Turf Moor citing 'stability' as a key factor in remaining as Burnley Manager. Long may he continue.

"Over a few months we've really underperformed, and I'm not happy!!!" is how I read this, even though we've had years of what I can only describe as GREATNESS. Sorry dude, but you're way too early in calling for his head for me.

Come on guys and gals really, we have a poor spell (still 12th) and straight away we are calling for the managers head, seriously get a grip with your selves without Sean Dyche we wouldn't be where we are now, yes 7th last season now seems a long way away but that was a superb season way above what we really ever expected, so cut the man and the team some slack let him get on with is job players will come back from injury and things will improve.
A lot of you are sounding like Leeds and Newcastle fans (who you normally slate for there comments thinking they have a right to be up there) who think now we have finished 7th one season we have the right to be there all the time, doesn't work like that.
Lets get behind the lads and the manager and stop the booing at the end of the game also.

Actually he probably would be sacked at most other clubs with the trigger happy chairmen that are about nowadays.

Which club other than ours would seriously stick by him?

Maybe Bournemouth?

A lot of clubs would have sacked Dyche CT. Style of play failed in Europe already out of league cup to a side two divs below and only won 7 league games in the last 12 months. Although I am not in the sack him brigade its hardly nonsense.
