I get the impression just by watching us this season that our famous team spirit, and being willing to run through a brick wall for Dyche isn't quite what it was.

I think the best thing for us would be a loan move to Championship club who are after promotion or possibly a Newcastle/ Huddesfield type club where he will get lots of chances to impress, meaning we would get better money for him next summer

As I have said before I feel this Heaton situation has affected the dressing room.

He looked stiff and slow, similar to how he did in the Olympiakos game.

Hart has arguably been our best player this season and kept us in the games that we've picked up points from...

Football is a harsh business, where results and reality doesn't care for sentiment;
Heaton is a legend but if he has to move on in his eyes then so be it.

Tom is the most likely to leave given he is the oldest. Hart is taller and for me the one area where Pope also completely outshone Tom is in his command of the area. Not sure where Tom will go but he's been amazing for us, I don't see him getting game time with us.

Pope completely outshines not just Tom but also Hart in his command of the area.

Tom needs to play so whilst I would be gutted for him to leave it does not look like he has much of a choice.

Hart has played very well this season but I agree that this could have upset the changing room as Heaton was probably our most senior player....Barton has said how popular Heaton was amongst all the players and the team spirit was clearly great. Whilst football can be ruthless it would also not be a big surprise to see our players impacted by Heaton being in a bad place this season.

The willingness to run through brick walls mentality has not bee present in a number of games this season.

I'd like to keep all 3, but that obviously isn't going to work.
Hart is in the slot and doing a great job. That could change by January, but I hope not.
The one we really need to hang onto, especially because of his age, is Nick Pope.

It's not great for all 3 of them, they all deserve to be number 1. It wouldn't surprise me if Dyche started with all 3 and took out the 2 strikers. Who's the better of the 3? difficult to say really, Pope would be more attractive for a bigger club due to his age, for me, Hart is the better of the 3, a truly world class goalkeeper and you can see why he's won PL trophies, 70+ England caps, several golden gloves and all those caps for Man City. This is another interview where the players dont seem happy with Dyche at all.

What are the other interviews by players saying they are unhappy with Dyche?

This article is what's being referenced I think:https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/s ... an-marney/

Laughable suggesting it's sticking the boot in. Can only assume it's a desparate attempt to stick the boot into the club and Dyche specifically.

Can't recall Arfield sticking the boot I either but let's see if any evidence emerges.

Tom certsinly looks on his way, but he'll go with our thanks and best wishes.

Sadly he's not fully recovered from his injury, maybe down to lack of games and age, but we have seen just how big, strong l, and commanding keepers help us with our style of defending.

Pope and Hart look a better fit for us over Heaton, and both have age on their side.

Lets get the conveyor belt back in action, and get another up and coming number 3 keeper ready to be Mercerised.

I really do feel for Tom, and I dont care what anyone says, the only keeper i here barking at his defence is Tom, and I feel that is why our defence is currently below the standard they used to be.

Anything else I've read, or watched since has no hint of anyone putting the boot in.

Of course people interpret things in different ways, but he appears to have enjoyed his time at the club.

That's not the one I was talking about, it's the one where he mentions training under Gerrard and takes shots at Dyche.

It's been an incredible situation to have 3 current England goalkeepers in the squad. But I expect that when Pope is back and fully fit i expect he will be back as our first goalkeeper. I doubt either Heaton or Hart will want to be the back up or odd man out so one of them leaving is inevitable.

New manager comes in at Rangers with a squad of league one equivalent players and asks them to do loads of running - that’s a big surprise eh ?
If you read between the lines Arfield is having a massive dig at Dyche....I have rarely seen a tirade of abuse from an ex player like this - but again you have to read between the lines (oh and you also need to be a complete d-ick)

It really is sickening how an ex player can speak like this. I’ll be surprised if Dyche hasn’t looked into taking legal action such is the vicious tone of it.

Tim, normally I'd agree with you. You were outstanding, however In your appearances do far this season, along with Popeys excellent performances last season means you are a number 3, number 2 at best.

You've had a few games to convince the gaffer and sadly haven't taken them.
It's been seen just what a commanding goal keeper can do to the backline, so once Popey returns it'll be him and Hart fighting to be number 1, and I hope Popey gets the nod.

All the best in your new adventures, another instance where both club and player have complimented each other excellently with incredible gains and with equal success for both.

If you keep reading it over and over again in a darkened room with posters of Dyche all over the wall which have big red x’s on his face you’ll be able to pick out the digs.

Not as many shots as you take. A thread discussing the merits/ futures of three highly skilful goalkeepers has once more degenerated into a 'let's bash Dyche' farce with you taking the lead role once again. You are becoming a laughing stock with your poorly thought out contributions and if only to avoid further humiliation I would suggest you leave this particular thread alone. You clearly have an agenda regarding Sean Dyche, you despise him about as much as any manager we've had in my time as a supporter of Burnley. If he's not your 'cup of tea' then that's fine but something more constructive or better thought out might lend itself to other posters engaging with you in a more harmonious manner. Unless,of course, that's not why you post on here.
