Songs you've not heard in years

Post by FactualFrank » Sun Oct 14, 2018 12:19 pm

Does anybody remember this tune from the late 90s in the clubs? This must be the first time I've heard it in at least 7-8 years.

Cheers m8 lol

Now for classic music try "Kashmir" Led Zeppelin...

Recently heard a Russian Violinist do this on a Rhine Cruise ... on an Electric Violin, and jeeez it brought back memories of the heady days of Classic Rock Bands m8

Bolero probably one of my favourite pieces of music and well worth the 15 minutes to listen to.

Kashmir. I remember when it came out, and being hugely disappointed. I was in 4th year at university, and expected a "classic" Led Zep effort. Classic it wasn't, but it grew on me over the years. I always crank up the radio when it comes on. I just wish that there was a classic prog rock band around producing something new worth listening to.

And Prince was half-Swedish. He merged Scandinavian techno-pop with classic blues/soul and got something totally unique. We'll probably never see his likes again.

"Express train for Minneapolis". That's a larf. There's only one passenger train to Minneapolis each way every day (the Empire Builder). Just Prince's little homage to his hometown.

KC and the Sunshine Band. If you couldn't dance to that, you couldn't dance to anything back in the Disco Era.
