Maybe Middlesbrough at home with Keano’s equaliser?
Or Shackells return?

Seen this already on Clarets-player...
A good watch.

The emotion in his voice and in his eyes during that piece to camera is a real joy to see.
Absolutely fantastic memories, with hopefully, many more to come our way.

Brilliant to watch.
And for anyone old enough to have seen us in 1987 and the long climb back, the context makes it all the more incredible.
Which is why we can't get too upset about little setbacks now.
What a manager and what a team!

Wonderful stuff, got to agree with Guich, after watching that. what a fantastic six years its been, PB brought back some great moments, a few which i had forgotten about, certainly got emotional as i watched it. Its made me sit up and think just how lucky i am to be a Claret and how proud we should all be to be part of what has been a glorious time, long may it continue under Sean Dyche, what a legend. utc.

The Boro game is high on my list. I'm not sure I've heard as loud a celebration as that Keane goal. The Turf felt like it was shaking!!Jimmymaccer wrote:Maybe Middlesbrough at home with Keano’s equaliser?

The 4 nil vs Sunderland was another cracker. Also the QPR home game in our first promotion season. That was the game when it got serious for me. We beat them so comprehensively that we couldn't be ignored as promotion candidates after it.
Winning at Goodison Park is another - a collectors item if ever there was one!! There's been many great days and it's nice to be reminded of them.

I do like Phil Bird and he has claret and blue in his blood and a real passion for the club. But I do find it incredibly cringe worthy when the likes of Phil and Darren Bentley call Sean Dyche Gaffer

Got to agree with the various shouts for the Boro game.
Only disappointment with the video is they make the footage of the games difficult to watch by adding that sound bar graphic across the screen.

Im not sure someone employed by the club should be calling it a “miracle promotion”.

It does remind you in the current ‘tough time’ what a fantastic job he has done and continues to do for this club.

Why? He has no involvement with the playing side, it's not like he even has a desk at the club.Dyched wrote:Im not sure someone employed by the club should be calling it a “miracle promotion”.

Phil Bird is the antithesis of the other bloke that does interviews who provides speeches that include the answer he wants as questions.

Silver haired guy that does interviews - don't even know his name
Re: Phil's Favourite Moments Under Sean Dyche
Three of the six opposition keepers in that video ended up at the Turf.

No but its a bit disrespectful for the official commentator to keep banging on about it. We worked hard that season amd got what we deserved.deanothedino wrote:Why? He has no involvement with the playing side, it's not like he even has a desk at the club.

Well, yes but that and it being a miracle aren't mutually exclusive. Did you think we'd get promoted before the season started?Dyched wrote:No but its a bit disrespectful for the official commentator to keep banging on about it. We worked hard that season amd got what we deserved.
Re: Phil's Favourite Moments Under Sean Dyche
Tbh I thought we’d win the title by 24 points. I felt exceedingly underwhelmed with how things developeddeanothedino wrote:Well, yes but that and it being a miracle aren't mutually exclusive. Did you think we'd get promoted before the season started?
Re: Phil's Favourite Moments Under Sean Dyche
So given how underwhelming we were it’s probably a miracle we managed to get promoted.Dyched wrote:Tbh I thought we’d win the title by 24 points. I felt exceedingly underwhelmed with how things developed

Haha no. Its a miracle we didnt win the titlemartin_p wrote:So given how underwhelming we were it’s probably a miracle we managed to get promoted.

When you read some of the guff on here of late, it’s good to be reminded that Dyche was the man who achieved that miracle promotion.Dyched wrote:Im not sure someone employed by the club should be calling it a “miracle promotion”.
That achievement should never be forgotten; it eclipses 7th last season in my opinion.

Re: Phil's Favourite Moments Under Sean Dyche
I was a colleague of Phil's for a while about 5 years ago in my first job after finishing Uni, I remember at the start of Dyche's first promotion season we'd chat about the games every Monday with a sort of "this form surely can't continue" outlook, but it did, and look where we are now. He's a really down to earth fella as well.
