When are clubs going to charge the correct rate for children? £20 for my 6yr old & 7yr old is way to excessive when you factor in my ticket & travel which rules us out unfortunately! With all the money in the prem can all clubs not make it £20 adults & £5 per child for away fans? Am sick of telling my kids we can't go with being on a budget n all.. utc!

Yes, another ridiculous price for youngsters! But still £5 cheaper than West Ham!claretdj wrote:When are clubs going to charge the correct rate for children? £20 for my 6yr old & 7yr old is way to excessive when you factor in my ticket & travel which rules us out unfortunately! PS - Showing as £10 for U12's on here but not on the club website???

After last year's small allocation fiasco hopefully people will be happy at the 2254 allocation this time but lets see just how many we sell!

It's something discussed at the recent Premier League Fans Group meeting I attended. There is a desire to push the Premier League on concession prices, particularly having categories at U22 & U18. Some of the club are charging way too much with West Ham the worst of the lot.claretdj wrote:When are clubs going to charge the correct rate for children? £20 for my 6yr old & 7yr old is way to excessive when you factor in my ticket & travel which rules us out unfortunately! Thing is Leisure the small allocation would have probably done us this time! We were absolutely flying when they put tickets on sale last season and pretty sure the game was sandwiched between away games at Southampton, Brighton and Bournemouth which made it more attractive as wellLeisure wrote:After last year's small allocation fiasco hopefully people will be happy at the 2254 allocation this time but lets se :loe just how many we sell!

Never guarantees with the Premier League but it is something that is always on the agenda. I produced a spreadsheet at the recent meeting. Around half of our games since start of 2016/17 have seen U22s paying £30 for tickets but for me it is appalling when clubs are charging extortionate prices for young kids.claretdj wrote:Well let's hope something happens in the near future & thanks for the info..

We sold out in no time last season - took 1,241. And you are right, it was after Southampton and Bournemouth with the next away game at Brighton.jrgbfc wrote:Thing is Leisure the small allocation would have probably done us this time! Possibly but a difficult one for the club after last year's criticism. At least everyone who wants to attend should get a ticket this time.jrgbfc wrote:Thing is Leisure the small allocation would have probably done us this time! Think the poster means 2 tickets for £20 in total - £10 each for his young kids.
Since adult prices have been capped at £30 for adults, seniors and kids have been pushed up to cover the shortfall.

This is exactly my thoughts. I thought about taking the lad (he's 7) to the City game. When it came to basically £50 for the two tickets I simply thought that I couldn't justify it.claretdj wrote:When are clubs going to charge the correct rate for children? £20 for my 6yr old & 7yr old is way to excessive when you factor in my ticket & travel which rules us out unfortunately! They haven't been pushed up, the data shows not. What's happened at a number of clubs is they haven't come down so are now much closer to the adult price.paulatky wrote:Think the poster means 2 tickets for £20 in total - £10 each for his young kids.

Re: 2018/19: Leicester City v Burnley – Ticket Information
I also suspect that clubs are charging a high rate for concessions because of the £30 limit on adults. I reckon they see it as a way to make some money back.
Re: 2018/19: Leicester City v Burnley – Ticket Information
Now sold out, with a reduced allocation of 1314 from the original 2254.

Wow that's some drop! Has the premier league bubble finally popped in Burnley?Leisure wrote:Now sold out, with a reduced allocation of 1314 from the original 2254.

I thought Leicester would request some back with all that's going on.Leisure wrote:Now sold out, with a reduced allocation of 1314 from the original 2254.
