Some people said this was a 'free hit', but it really isn't. If we suffer a heavy defeat it will no doubt knock confidence for the next few games.
Re: Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets
To be fair the ref looked to blow and hence why they all were aghast, only to change his mind. Ball not dead....or was it?

Ffs. Game over in a space of two minutes. Partly poor officiating. And partly our own naivety!
Re: Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets
Smart team vs stupid team I’m seeing here. City are incredibly good on the ball, but at the same time, we are incredibly bad

"Play to the whistle". Football 101
Two phenomenal goals let's not take that away from them.
We do need to learn how to keep our composure better.
And KdB is now Jesus Christ, City moving through the gears here. Let's keep it 3 but I could see it being 5 at FT

Looked close to put. But everyone stopped as he made the decision. Lucky break for them. And then we are not concentrating.
City never ever let stuff affect them like that

I don't know why they stopped playing but it has completely changed the game, still upset when the third went in.

How the hell did Moss not give the pen in the first place Then combined with his assistant gives a goal from a ball that went out of play. He’s absolutely terrible.
Re: Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets
Burnley free kick comes to nowt.
Re: Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets
Flashback to last year except we look like we could easily concede twice as many more.

Re: Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets
Doesnt matter if Ref puts whistle to his mouth we shouldnt even be looking at the ref and should be focusing on defending unless we hear a whistle.
Not seen whether it went out so thats another question but regarding the Pen youd have whinged at ref for giving it and now your whinging because he didnt. We're getting like the scousers when it comes to self pity

Good ball in from Defour, glimmers of hope for easier fixtures.

Genuinely played some alright football then. Lasted 10 seconds like, but it’s the best I’ve seen in about 8 months

You don’t play the game watching the ref. Basic stuff. School boy mistake.IanMcL wrote:No but he put the whistle in his mouth....

Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets
Ha and if he had missed the shot we'd have been saying how lucky we were to escape not giving the pen away. But because they scored were moaning he didn't give the penRocketLawnChair wrote:How the hell did Moss not give the pen in the first place Then combined with his assistant gives a goal from a ball that went out of play. The ball didn't go out of play. The ref never blew . We just switched off.....again.
Re: Re: Mancy City versus Mighty Clarets
Not so sure you are right there, when his whole body language said pen and then not!
Good play by Burnley and then they break!
Here we go again. Keeping ball for a bit. Come on you Clarets

2nd goal. BT Sport saying it was a drive and should be FK to us, ball then went out of play and Silva crosses it from offside
