Lowton
Is it me or does it seem like Lowts is on a mission to absolutely **** off the opposition every week. It’s quite funny watching him as he’s discrete about it. Sane today was not happy.

Re: Lowton
He’s what you want from your full backs. Good defensively and knowledgeable about his positioning. Good at winding up tarts like Sane

Re: Lowton
Some might say that's very similar to Bardsley approach yet he's disliked on here. A yellow card waiting to happen, so is Lowton but he doesn't get the pelters that Bardsley does. Agreed. Lowton is better going forward for me.

Agreed. Unlikely as he’s probably worth more than our budgetVintage Claret wrote:Wish we had a tart like Sane in our side.

Sane could have gone for his scissor attack. They could have had 9 players...

For as bad as we have started we are well stocked at full back with 3 excellent choices.
Just hoping Ward can get back to what he was so we can have 4 good full backs.

Re: Lowton
I think the biggest credit to Lowton is he makes Bardsley look like a Championship defender at best in comparison.
We really miss him any time he doesn’t play and the fact that he seems to wind other players up is just a bonus.
Lowton laughing in David Luiz’s face will always be a great image.

Re: Lowton
I thought lowton was one of our better players yesterday.
At least a league above bardsley.

Re: Lowton
And fair play to Lowton for not reacting to the Sane assault. Last thing we needed is him suspended.
Re: Lowton
Sane doesn’t need winding up that tackle was nasty! The dive was cheating of the worst order!
Moss had a shocker

Re: Lowton
Huge fan of Lowton but viewing the highlights suggests that on at least 2 and probably 3 occasions in the first half, his positioning allowed men to get in between him and Tarks and get onto Mahrez's crosses - Aguerro twice, Silva once. Bardsley is inferior to Lowton in almoat every way, but possibly not that one.
Re: Lowton
Would’ve worked too had the ref used his brain. Result was more than fair, City should have been down to 9 ultimately. Margins.
