Dan Carter: Hope for Us All

Monday was municipal election day in Ontario. In Oshawa,a guy who was a homeless person 25 years ago, and had served only one term on city council, named Dan Carter, won the mayor's chair in a landslide. I don't know his entire story, but if somebody can take themself from the edge of oblivion to the highest position in local government, it must be an inspiration for us all.
