These days it’s Brisbane Roar.
Fair standard of football payed in a vast stadium (Suncorp) which is normally a 1/5th full - that’s the Australian A-League for you.

Local team is Stevenage surprisingly! Much better than Fareham town .

Earl Jean scored 3 for Rotherham against us in 1996/97. ?

Same her - Leeds is closest - we can hear the crowd if they get excited and it's fairly quiet (so not very often :)) but next would be Ossett.

Penistone Church, 9th tier I think. Jon Stones played as a kid there, they've had a few gone on to play professionally. We often go on during international breaks, the guy who plays up front used to play with Jamie Vardy at Stocksbridge.

Barnsley are local league side, switching between top of League One and bottom of the Championship forever.

I would have said West Ham, but apparently Brisbane Rd just pips the Olympic Park. Lots of ninth to thirteen level teams, just because we live near Wanstead Flats.

Cleator Moor Celtic who play at McGrath Park. 10th tier.

Nearest EFL team would be Carlisle United in league 2 at Brunton Park.

Yorkshire Amateur (the ‘ammers) - playing at Bracken Edge between Chapeltown and Roundhay/ Harehils in Leeds. North East Counties div 1. Nice ground and a shame that they get crowds of about 20-30.

Without doubt mine would be Accrington Stanley. 5 minutes from my house in a car and nearer than the Turf by a bit. I go occasionally and at the moment they are doind unbelievably well. Average crowds poor given League One status but that's increasing slowly with the league position and the fact they have some big games (freak knows what Accrington will do when Sunderland rock up). They could fill the ground twice over themselves.

I'd say they are bigger than Fareham but what would happen if they were in the same league who knows?

Darlo non league, still keep an eye on how the Quakers are doing.
In the league it's Boro, but I wouldn't go there unless the Clarets were playing. Sunderland and Newcastle are far friendlier.

Closest League club is Bristol Rovers or Bristol City (about 2 miles down the road in either direction) but Bristol Manor Farm is only 250 metres away.

Yes, Oxford 5 - 0 Burnley. ****ing hell what a **** day. Oxford came through to gain promotion from what is effectively Div3 and we finished 17th.

Mold Alex or Connahs Quay Nomads (played last few seasons in Europa league) both would beat ‘said team’ I fancy

Was it Paul Moody that took out Chris woods at a corner playing for Fulham?
My closest is Rochdale, a very deluded and apathetic set of fans .
