Game over, poor defending as is becoming the norm this season.

Hendrick at 10 surprisingly hasn’t worked, in spite of what is now literally years of exactly the same thing.

Still no Vydra then? Dropped for zero reason after Cardiff and in his place we have a man who never has and never will have the attributes for that position.

Give it a rest Dyche.

Hart's first cracking save was on his left side. Not much he could do with the goals. He is the one of the last players who deserve criticism.

..and thats 0-3.

Frustrating, the defence has been poor today. People will ask what I expected against a good Chelsea side, I thought we'd get beat as most did. However watching his game, Chelsea have not been anything special, if we'd had kept strong at the back we could have easily stolen a point.

Where is the desire to get out and block shots? We've lost that edge of us throwing ourselves at balls and blocking with our body's. I'm getting sick of watching this desirless garbage! I know it's Chelsea but bloody hell this is wearing thin now.

Is it time to give Tom a game - and, maybe, just maybe, organise the defence in front of him?

Or, would Joe Hart be expected to have a great game on his return to the London Stadium next week?

I'm not backing the second choice - it didn't work out at City.

I don't think that matters. Some people see 0-3 and think dropping the goalkeeper will sort everything. Football Manager has really screwed some people's minds.

The year is 3042, a cryogenically frozen Jeff Hendrick, who has amassed 23 goals altogether in his 1026 year Burnley career is starting at number 10.

I expected exactly what’s happening. We are stale and out of ideas. The “framework” and “low block” doesn’t work anymore as people are wise to it.

Yes, I know. Joe is at the top of the saves stats and James Tarkowski is top of the most blocks, with Ben Mee in 3rd place.

And, we are 0-8 down over (less than) two games.....

So, what is it that is not working for us?

And, sorry, Frank, I'm too old to have any experience or knowledge of "football manager" or any other "computer game."

Football is a team sport. In my book, it's how the team perform not just one "best" player. So, I'm just asking what is not working for us. I assume Sean Dyche and his coaching team are also thinking about the same things.

In no way should my comments be read as me thinking I've got the answer - and, of course from Sept last year it was Nick Pope who was "making the difference."
