If We Lose 4-0 Tomorrow

Post by ontario claret » Fri Nov 02, 2018 7:55 pm

I will join the chorus asking for Sean Dyche's head on a platter. (You see? I can just as fickle as the rest of you.)

A rather silly opening post ontario, a quiet night in Canada?

Rubbish... No man has a job for life. Football is a results buisness and if he doesn't perform he is out for me. Every manager has a shelf life and I honestly believe Dyches is near the end

You definitely have Ontario but I fully agree with you, as I think many others do, but are wary about saying it on here, where you’re supposed to say ‘in Dyche we trust.’

But Chronologically it should only be 3, what then ?
I guess we could also score 3 like last season. West Ham 3 Burnley 4 sounds even better !
I went for 1-1 in the prediction thread.

I'd settle for any game where we don't get run off of the park, at this point.

Sacking managers really worked for WBA and Stoke, didn't it?

Eventually players get fed up hearing the same message and standards slip.
This is why clubs refresh their squads. The cost of PL players we have to be more selective and our turnover is slower.
SD has a job for as long as he wants for me but we do need new blood.
Better than Vokes, Barnes or Wood would be a start.

Another poor OP.
Please stop going on about getting rid of Sean Dyche..just ridiculous.

- you will regret it when he's gone.

Over the years there have been lots of posts [from us] on here and the other place, about what great supporters Burnley fans are - how we back the team no matter what, how many fans 'we take away' [cringe]...   how rubbish Blackburn Rovers and their fans are, and so on.

It is all such a load of nonsense.
We are no better than dozens and dozens of other club's fans.
This forum has way more whingers, whiners, trolls, 'double identities 'and fickle 'short memory' moaners than it should have.

How were we ever going to match 7th last season?
We have had injuries, some loss of form, poor decisions [eg. City] and no penalties...plus some teams have found us out a bit.
We are 15th. some winnable fixtures coming up, and last weekend played a top European side who brought on 2 World Cup Winners as substitutes.
I have no doubt that we will improve our PL position from here.

Some of the worst moaning comes from those who live many miles from Turf Moor, and rarely attend any matches..?

Support the team, support the manager, back the club ['cos that's what supporters are supposed to do] or bugger off somewhere else - because really, BFC doesn't need you.

Well, this got the response I certainly wanted. It seems that there ARE more Sir Dyche supporters than against him.

According to Sean himself, he won't be a football manager when he is 65. So, another 18 years with us - and I will enjoy every bit of it.

Actually Sean cannot draw his old age pension for 20 more years as he will be 67 before his Goverment pension becomes available.... but...... as he is currently on 65k a week he could retire comfortably next july :D :D :D

If we have an awful run with some pastings over the next couple of months I would say Sean Dyche as enough credit in the bank to carry on. But too say he has a job for life or for as long as HE wants is just utterly ridiculous.

Aye, Lord Dyche can stay for me.......

I occasionally have a bad couple of weeks at work, but they don’t drag me out on the street and hang me........it’s up to the likes of Ben Mee to get their act together.....
