Garbage
Re: Garbage
The problem is Dyche cannot change from his rigid system, he always said when we get better footballers we will adapt our style but Brady, Lennon an Gudmundsson are better players than Arfield, Boyd an Kightly but our system hasn't changed Dyche is just trying to get them to change to play his system.
It's utter garbage to watch an shows no sign of changing because he isn't good enough to change it.

For 90% of his tenure the football has been soporific, pragmatic, dull. That’s tolerable when it’s effective, when it clearly isn’t what is the point ?

Have to add to that list now "The mentality was right" Certainly seems like mental to keep passing backwards.
The ref was poor.
We were good in patches
We aren't a million miles away
We will be fine when Brady and Defour get back playing
We need to start Vydra
Points will come in the next few weeks
We will get back to basics

Re: Garbage
I can see he is trying to change and evolve and that's why we are where we are it's a transitional phase which all prem teams have to go through, stoke were fine until they tried to change , West Brom were fine till they tried , blackburn too got fed up of defending and now it's our turn !!SkiptonClaret wrote:For 90% of his tenure the football has been soporific, pragmatic, dull. Re: Garbage
I really thought we would get something today. I certainly didn't expect a hammering by the Hammers. The 4-2 scoreline flattered us. Can't see us getting anything next week, but I hope I'm wrong. We definitely need 3 points against Newcastle.

Kind of agree both to blame but looks like they are not playing for him anymore - but players need to have a good long hard look at themselves.Ooogeorgeorgeoghani wrote:Dyche is not to blame today , started with a positive team , changed the strikers early and Brady had plenty of time too , I know it's happy clappy stuff but we have to get behind the team at home it's where our points are going to come from, we all know it's not quite clicking so does the manager and the players ,so negative fans on match day will only make matters worse ,
Re: Garbage
If they weren't playing for him would we have made any attempt to equalise twice?BOYSIE31 wrote:Kind of agree both to blame but looks like they are not playing for him anymore - but players need to have a good long hard look at themselves.

Re: Garbage
If rumours are to be believed the board actually had signings in place but Dyche being the stubborn so and so that he is didnt want them. Butterworth had identified targets abroad which the board sanctioned but Dyche didnt.Jimmymaccer wrote:Needs investment......like any business. And we haven’t, not enough to at least keep pace........and that’s not Dyche.
He’s trying to do a job in a highly competitive industry, where the shareholders and Board invest in “make do” players.
Ultimately ready for the Championship in my view...........but how I hope it just about keeps us in the Prem, but at this rate can’t see it.

If this is true it should be on his head. His general recruitment has been really really poorCleveleys_claret wrote:If rumours are to be believed the board actually had signings in place but Dyche being the stubborn so and so that he is didnt want them. Looks like ‘Granny WeatherWax ‘ or whatever it’s name is this week, is keen to be the first to mention the ‘Dyche Out’ bollux on here.
Well done you won.
Wish you would troll off somewhere else.
- who else were you previously.. please name them all?
Unity has got us through the last few years.
Look at the state of Burnley support these days, on this thread, on this forum.
Shocking and embarrassing... fickle, and in some cases clearly fans who’ve only known the Premier League.

Re: Garbage
It isn't football watching Burnley, it's whoooooch ball
We don't have an ounce of football in us, we are clueless when we have the ball, more often than not we give it away far to easily.
This really is not good enough for a top 20 English football team and changes will have to be made at the top if things don't improve

So you didn't see the first goal for us then, or many of the fantastic goals we scored last season, or even the ones we scored against Bournemouth, this?Top Claret wrote:We don't have an ounce of football in us, we are clueless when we have the ball, more often than not we give it away far to easily.
None of which were hoof ball, btw

Re: Garbage
Our complete lack of pace is also killing us because opposition teams know that if they press us high and try and get that vital 1st goal, we don't have the pace or quality to get in behind and cause damage. It condenses the game into our half and leads to us just lumping the ball aimlessly forward.
Rinse and repeat
Rinse and repeat
Re: Garbage
And yet we manged to equalise twice and it was a great run and cross for nearly a third when the much maligned Taylor managed to do precisely what you've said we don't do and that's to get in behind.THEWELLERNUT70 wrote:we don't have the pace or quality to get in behind and cause damage.

You are delusional mate. Stop going on about the past that is history, its now that matters.
We are a bloody dreadful football team who offer little going forward or in defence. Our performances this year have been well below par as results confirm
The club is going backwards on the pitch were it matters
Not enough thought, time or money as been put into the squad or its management.
Our lack of any type of recruitment structure is going to cost the club dearly

To be honest we are a team of championship players and we've not really improved on that.

Re: Garbage
Coulda, woulda, shoulda. My point is still a valid one where teams consistently press us high within the open quarter of the game. It's happened since Watford at home this season where teams, after the initial salvos, visibly move 5 to 10 yards further up the pitch and condense the playSpijed wrote:And yet we manged to equalise twice and it was a great run and cross for nearly a third when the much maligned Taylor managed to do precisely what you've said we don't do and that's to get in behind.
Just as a side I thought Taylor had his best game for us today

Re: Garbage
The only good thing today was our passion and play after we’d made all 3 subs. The preceding 65 mins or so was absolutely ****.
