Time for Dyche to leave
Won 6? games since jan. Got us knocked out of Europe and beat by burton. He’s been amazing but now he’s been found out. Game today against a side we could have got at least a point off and we got spanked. Dyche out Dyche out Dyche out.

Disagree. But he does need to shake things up and get us trying to play football again. He is too loyal to certain players, time for changes.
Re: Time for Dyche to leave
If he hasn't shaken it up in a year then he isn't going to now, time to go his recruitment has been absolutely terribleVino blanco wrote:Disagree. But he does need to shake things up and get us trying to play football again. He is too loyal to certain players, time for changes.

Re: Time for Dyche to leave
At least until January
Re: Time for Dyche to leave
No way. Dyche is a good manager. There can be little doubt about that. And yes, he makes mistakes. We’re all human. But we need everyone pulling in the same direction. EVERYONE. That’s the players, the manager, the board, the fans. Do you think a replacement will be better? I’d be amazed if we replace him with a better manager. I think one or two players need to improve and they will do. Meanwhile, those players will struggle if they sense the fans are not behind them.Granny WeatherWax wrote:Won 6? games since jan. His DNA runs through the team and the set up of the club. Not a time to do anything stupid.
Needs to give the defence a kick in the arse, Defour, Brady & Wood showed signs of life today. At least we can shore, need to stop shipping goals for fun.

Why is it always the manager who is to blame? What about several of our players who can’t even do the basics right at the moment?

Oh joy, anotehr transfer window, some more ageing journeymen targeted. Why is their so mich apparent mistrust of the foreign market and youth at this football club ?

Re: Time for Dyche to leave
Dyche gets this season, and an opportunity to bring us back should we drop (which I believe we will).
He has earned that - don’t for a second think that means I’m satisfied with the joke of a team I am having to watch this season though. Absolute shambles from front to back.

The mere idea bores me to tears. He will probably try and sign Clucas and Dawson again in summer. Might get another year out of Bards and Walts - I can hardly wait.jedi_master wrote:Dyche gets this season, and an opportunity to bring us back should we drop (which I believe we will).

He’s too stubborn to change anything, or doesn’t know how to - take your pick.
Either way the slide this season is alarmingly bad and if he takes us down we need to get rid and inject some life back into the club.

Re: Time for Dyche to leave
Tarks mistake - can't blame the manager
Lowton wandering around all over the place - can't blame the manager
players not able to pass to each other - find it difficult to blame the manager
Tactics - 100% down to Dyche
Board - need to back Dyche big time in January or get rid of him (which would be ridiculous) as he is fighting with both hands tied behind his back
So, as much as I hate our football I think Dyche is part of the collective issue and not THE issue. A few more performances like this though and it might be time to re-evaluate

For all you who are starting to panic, perhaps your efforts would be better employed watching Strictly come prancing, Eastenders or some other tosh.Leave supporting the Clarets to the rest of us.Sure its tough at the moment but it was always going to be so.One thing for sure, is that its going to be an exciting season to see if we can get the points to stay up.I think we will and that there will be at least three worse teams. Just remember where we have come from and keep the faith.

Absolutely not but if we do go down then it might be
that he feels he needs to move on. Not sure where.
I think the fans will no doubt have a say in it especially if they do get
on his and the players backs which will no doubt happen if we continue in the same
vein of form as we have done. And it probably won't be that many games down the road.
Another 6 or so games will probably suffice afore things start getting volatile.
I personally think Dyche will be here at the end of the season and probably the season
after even if we do go down. He's taken us back up once so no reason why he can't do it
again will be the thinking.
The only way I see him leaving is if another club comes in for him.
Probably a top Championship club.

Re: Time for Dyche to leave
Didn't get back up in time during the transfer window unfortunately and with some key injuries that have impacted on results and confidence it has been difficult.
Do not right this man off he has more grit and honesty in him than the other 19 managers in that league have collectively.
We have been here before and he brought us back. If we go down he stays and is given the chance to bring us back again with full support you fickle lunatics.

I cannot see any other manager getting any better from that squad of players. In fact Dyche is over achieving with them.

Re: Time for Dyche to leave
NO- but he is paid handsomely so its down to him to sort this out. Needs to be more ruthless with the team and install belief in the starting 11. With Tarks out next week I suspect, and despite Joe's great form would shake up the team next week and start with
Heaton
Bardsley (if fit)
Long
Mee
Taylor
Brady
Cork
Defour
JBG
Barnes
Wood
I think Lennon, Lowton and Vokes need to make way now. They have had their chances this season

At the end of the season I’d be changing managers if it were up to me. Monk, Wilder, Jokanovic would be candidates id look at given I have no knowledge of foreign managers, in the hope of injecting some life back into our club and some excitement.

That's the killer question,if you are thinking short-term Big Sam is the obvious choice, but beyond him the cupboard is bare.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote:Who would you replace him with at this moment in time?
It's not only Sean you would have to replace but the whole backroom staff, that being said the onus is on Sean too rectify our current malaise.
Equally the players have to do their jobs on the pitch,Sean can set the team up and make subs change formations, but ultimately he can't take the blame for individual errors.

Re: Time for Dyche to leave
On a positive we can now see the real SD. Yes we have a bunch of players punching above their weight but who have performed before for SD and captured the nation. Its a test of whether he can re-install confidence and get them playing to the heights of this time last year. He definitely deserves a chance and this is where his coaches need to rally round him. Next week v Leicester is the ideal platform to show what he and the team can do. We as fans need toi do the same-it will be less painful tomorrow and by Saturday morning we will all feel we have a chance
I keep saying the PL has moved forward-just look at WHU versus what they were like last time we played them away

Getting feed up of hearing all this punching above our weight rubbish.
We have played 5 seasons out of 9 in the Premier league and our standard of football as not improved and neither as the quality of our footballers.
We have no pace flair or idea and quite frankly we are an embarrassment to the Premier league

And it moves on at exactly the same pace each season. We finished 7th last year, yet our spending was still far below the other teams which makes a mockery of needing to spend to keep up.warksclaret wrote:I keep saying the PL has moved forward-just look at WHU versus what they were like last time we played them away
