I thought last week BFC said he was nearing match fitness. What does this mean now for when he is going to see game time?

He won't play for us this season.

Gibson and Tarks have already had operations before, and Tarky is having another.

If they have had hernia ops got to remember there are two sides to an argument and to inguinal hernias. Get one side done t'other may need a tweak too.

It’s only keyhole surgery. Will only be a few weeks to fully recover.

I had a double hernia op se eral years ago using keyhole surgery...i wasnt allowed to drive for about 3/4 weeks so i expect its going to be at least 6 weeks before he is into full training .
However times move on and it may be these days they get them fit much sooner....hope so we need Gibson.
