10 times overpriced.
Re: Ollie watkins
“Surprisingly” lol. That’s what you have to pay these days in that league sadly.
He’s certainly worth keeping tabs on, but he hasn’t shown enough for me so far. Also still debate over whether he’s a striker or a left mid.

£20 million should keep him at Brentford for the foreseeable future.

Surprise surprise another championship player we are linked with.
Re: Ollie watkins
Yes, we should be looking at Drinkwater, Moses and Loftus-Cheek at Chelsea, well within our budgetRight_winger wrote:Surprise surprise another championship player we are linked with.

English and only 22, so will no doubt have a larger sell-on fee.

That’s the minimum standard of player we should be looking at yet we refuse too.NL Claret wrote:Yes, we should be looking at Drinkwater, Moses and Loftus-Cheek at Chelsea, well within our budget
Unambiguous board and clueless manager who clearly doesn’t know of any other leagues than the championship.
Still it’s easy to see the ones who are the sheep and buy interesting this little old Burnley tripe.

Unambiguous board and clueless manager - for not signing loftus cheek... when you think you have seen a high level of stupidity someone else always dives in and takes it that bit higher

If you manage to get a break from your PlayStation why don’t you look up the meaning of unambiguous as you have inadvertently just paid them a compliment !

Re: Ollie watkins
Well done to Brentford for taking a punt on him and snapping him up for around a £1m when he was receiving rave reviews for Exeter week in and week out.

Seen him when he was at Exeter and I know a player is only worth what some club are prepared to pay but think we can do better elsewhere.

Re: Ollie watkins
No mate, it's fact he didn't play much, it's conjecture from your mate that he didn't play well. Bruce got sacked because he played one up top in home games and was very negative. The fact the new manager has brought him back into the first team squad straight away (memory tells me he was his manager at Brentford but I could be wrong on that) tells me that Villa haven't written him off yet - not saying they won't but they haven't yet.joey13 wrote:Because when he wasn’t out injured when he did play he was poor

For you to say Scott Hogan is crap is ridiculous. Hendrick is crap when he plays number 10 but better when he's played in his proper position for example
