Re: Tony Bellew
Not a chance. Fast Eddie always does a fabulous job of convincing mostly the casuals otherwise though.
Usyk will cause serious problems at Heavyweight and I’d love him to be given a crack to derail AJ. Fast Eddie won’t allow that though. Gotta keep milking that cow.

I'd like Bellew to do it and go out on a high but I don't see it.

Re: Tony Bellew
I've just got a feeling bellew will do it. Uysk is brilliant and I can't really believe I'm going against but it's just a feeling I've got. Maybe it's just that bellew talks a good fight either way we will find out tomorrow.

British boxing would be better were nobody interested in British boxing. The sport of boxing would be pure if not for the fans of the sport of boxing. Damn all these sports fans looking for fun on a Saturday night. Title matches should take place in a gym at 10.15 am on a Tuesday.

Re: Tony Bellew
fatuous **** thug, pig ignorant and psychotic. hope he is defeated
Re: Tony Bellew
Ha ha! Top banter, mate. Word of advice, though: if you're gonna' have a pop at a boxer, best not do it by labelling them fatuous, an adjective which is quite literally synonymous with the word pointless, least of all when using it to describe a boxer for whom a third of his wins have come by points decision. Better luck next time, though.Wile E Coyote wrote:fatuous **** thug, pig ignorant and psychotic. hope he is defeated

'I will take Usyk's soul'
The guys an absolute tool. I just hope that he doesn't go into full time punditry after this fight.

Re: Tony Bellew
Bellew talks a good fight but he didn’t look that good against a past it Haye, Usyk is in his prime and will do him within 5.

Re: Tony Bellew
Bellew shouldn't of got anywhere near Haye on ability, but he has guts and even taking the 2nd Haye fight looked stupid at the time.
He should get beat tonight on paper but you never know.
He certainly doesn't duck the big guns.

Re: Tony Bellew
It's harsh to say Bellew didn't look good against haye in the rematch, a fight where the majority said he'd be beaten. He destroyed Haye with ease in that fight.
Usyk is a different beast, and a brilliant southpaw. The only thing going against him, is his relative lack of experience as a professional but he looks more than ready to fight the big fights. Bellew has to find a way to knock him out, the longer it goes on the less chance he has. I'd say it's 70/30 in Usyks favour but don't rule out Bellew, his skill is definitely underrated.
I never understand the criticism of Eddie Hearn. He makes a lot of dough sure and promoters are never going to be darlings of the fans, but he's done wonders for British boxing and some of his shows have been more than worth the money. What he's doing in the US is very clever too, where at the moment you'd be paying more like £40-50 for a show.

Re: Tony Bellew
If he doesn't get a result in the first half of the fight, I think that having to
lose over a stone in weight to get back down to cruiser weight will take it's toll
on him.
Just my opinion.
